I’m so angry that we have to wait 3 weeks for this episode! 👿 The giant seems to be targeting Charming specifically… Could it be that Charming is related to Jack? Also I think I read that in this episode we will know Charming's real name

Yeah, I’m quite convinced though that his real name IS David…
As for giant targeting Charming – I reckon Regina manipulated him into it. You know, Cora was saying she can think of a few ways to get Henry back so she brought the giant back so Regina could either save the day or get rid of Charming?

well, no, when the blue magic happened, he had the scarf on (he was driving) so it's obviously just crossing the line as before. At the airport there was no blue magic.

Yeah maybe he thinks that’s James. I would like to see some past story (or at least one scene) about the Giant wars, Jack etc. I hope that they give us many scenes with Rumple out of town. I wonder how he’ll react to be on a plane. 😀 Will he get nervous? 🙂

Yeah, I’m guessing that Mr. Gold temporarily loses his FTL memories when he takes off his enchanted talesman. Yet, he probably remembers he is Rumpel when he puts the scarf back on.

I don’t think James, Charming’s brother, was Jack, since he was traded as a baby to be King George’s son in a deal Charming’s father made with Rumplestiltskin. I won’t rule it out though, since Jack is an obvious nickname for James. But maybe Charming is Jack! 😮 In the original fairytale of “Jack and the Beanstalk,” Jack and his mother, a widow, were poor famers who traded their one cow for some magic beans. Sounds a lot like Charming and his widow mother in 1×6 “The Shepherd.” Also, in an interview, Josh Dallas said he’d really like to see that fairytale on “Once.” Also, we’re supposed to find out Charming’s real name this episode! However, we saw the remains of Jack at the castle in 2×6, so I’m a bit confused. Perhaps the person had stolen Jack’s sword and it was a case of mistaken identity.

I agree. Regina must know there was a history between Charming and the giant, so she and Cora use magic to bring over the giant in miniature form, because the giant wants revenge to kill Charming!

I love how delightfully awkward Rumple looks as he’s walking through the airport security. He’s already lost control of what’s happening with Belle in SB, and now he’s out of his depth in our modern world on top of it all. Will be fun seeing how he copes.

There’s another post somewhere in here about a chick having apparently been cast to play Jack. I think Charming’s twin was involved in the war with the giants, and fought alongside Jack, but James escaped, though not before slaying someone close to our particular Giant, which is why he’s gonna go after Charming, thinking he’s James.
