Well, August did say a “little fairy told him” about Rumple’s dagger. If Tamara is also Tinker Bell, then she could be the one who told August about Neal being Baelfire.
That would certainly solve the mystery of August’s line to Gold about the fairy telling him. (Though I still want it explained why August was having an animated discussion in hushed tones with Mother Superior if she didn’t have her memories…it’s gone from being one of my fave clues to one of my pet peeves.) Hasn’t the existence of a dark fairy (who gave Snow the dust) been mentioned once or twice in interviews lately?
I’m both highly anticipating and dreading this ep. Can’t wait to see August’s story, but am still blah about what Blue does to him.
[adrotate group="5"]March 18, 2013 at 4:17 am #180625MysteryKat25ParticipantIs it possible it was just August being worried about seeing his dad again / feeling guilty about letting him down? He seemed to struggle with that the whole episode until the end when he & Marco finally had a chat about August letting his dad down a long time ago and wanting to make up for it.
If I recall somebody turned the CC on for that conversation and it was something about August’s relationship trouble with his dad and if that’s the case, the “Mother Superior” wouldn’t have been lying when she mentioned it to Rumple as well – which made him believe it was Bae and not Pinocchio.
Perhaps it was a setup knowing Rumple would be within earshot – to help cement the Bae idea in his head, or, more likely, that August was being crushed under the weight of the guilt and needed somebody to talk to.
August is a writer which means he’s probably very careful with his wording on things. He told Mother Superior nothing incriminating and it played into Rumple’s hands perfectly, though I still think he was mostly there for his issues with Gepetto.
As for what seems likely to happen in this ep…I’m torn. Too many times have I wished to see _____ (pick somebody) back or have more focus or something only to have it all turn out wrong. We’ll see what actually happens but if she does what we think she will be doing…then on the bright side it’s somebody Henry’s age for him to be friends with? But boo to what we all have reason to think happens. (We need context!!!)
Dark fairies have been mentioned a few times but Blue is supposedly good so I’m not sure if we’ve even seen any (does Mal count?). Still need to learn where Snow got the dust.
Also…little concerned because this ep will be taking us to another long break so whatever happens needs to be good so people are anxious to come back. *fingers crossed it plays out better than we’re thinking right now – and more than likely it will, we just need context*

Too funny. I did read an interesting theory tonight about Tamara though. http://spoilingouat.tumblr.com/post/45643792793/spoilers-and-speculation-for-upcoming-ouat-read-at
First, I just want to write that I was hoping that Tamara wouldn’t be evil because I don’t really feel like she was a threat to SwanFire, so I just wanted her to be a cool character in her own right since this show doesn’t really use that many POC, and when they do, they usually either die quickly, are evil, or get to be back up to the white characters.
Since it doesn’t look like that is going to happen though, I think this theory could come true. Remember that OUaT loves to do foreshadowing like how Baelfire turned out to be Neal, or how Greg turned out to be Owen, or how we were told Rumple can make someone younger again which is foreshadowing August becoming a boy again in the next episode, well tonight we were introduced to the idea that with the right spell someone can make someone else love someone even if it’s not “true love”. Obviously, this will come up again because it’s too important for them not to return to the idea.
Now remember the casting call for Tamara,
She’s beautiful, artistic, relaxed, friendly, charming and smart. She’s also ambitious, fearless and a born leader, and she won’t stop until she gets what she wants.
I still believe that she is Tinkerbell, so this would fit in nicely with that if Nealfire is Peter, or possibly if she’s using Neal just to find the real Peter.
The spell came up in my mind as well! It would definitely make sense for us to see the Empty-Hearted spell come up again. And after all, she did run STRAIGHT into Neal. Curse application, perhaps??
And Rumple does have an aversion to fairies. Maybe she’s the reason? Dark fairy? If so I bet she’s fooling August because don’t think he’d knowingly work with dark magic. I think August just thinks she’s helping him [speaking as if its pre-The Return] with Rumple/dagger so he can get magic so he won’t be wood. And she wants magic, obviously, because if we are all correct, August asks her why she would want to steal magic. Maybe she confesses, “I did all this to steal magic”.Aaand cue: *sneaky fairy is sneaky*
and then there’s the voice at the end of the Canadian promo. “Whatever it is you have, you deserve your fate.”
Keeper Nealfire's/Bae's scarf, Henry and Neal's bribery ice cream sundae, Baelfire's sword, the coconut map, and more.

I thought the closed captioning just said they were whispering and didn’t give any actual dialogue, but there’s one part you can make out where she’s telling him not to do anything drastic, or something like that.
March 18, 2013 at 6:52 am #180642manajordanParticipantWasn’t Robin Hood supposed to be a part of the story at some point this season and be involved in stealing magic?
Maybe the writers are going to pull another Jack and Tamara is Robin.March 18, 2013 at 7:36 am #180645MatthewPaulModerator@manajordan wrote:

Maybe the writers are going to pull another Jack and Tamara is Robin.Don’t think so because They apparently casted Robin Hood for episode 19 under the name Keith.

Watched Canadian promo. *head explodes* What the hell is going on????March 18, 2013 at 10:47 am #180656lisasParticipantOkay after seeing both the US & Canadian Promo’s for Selfless, Brave And True Here is my speculations & Theories about Tamara.
I am changing my position on Tamara originally I thought she could just be an ordinary normal person from this world now I’m not so sure I think there is definitely more to her character. I have the feeling that she knew August and who he really is and if that is the case then I think it is entirely possible that she and August could have worked together to get Henry to Storybrooke when he was born. I think Tamara may have spied on August’s & Neal’s meeting in New York. I’m beginning to suspect that Tamara could also be Greg’s mysterious “Her” I don’t think she could be Tinkerbell but I do think Tamara could possibly be a fairy who maybe wants revenge on Rumple for a past wrong. We know that Rumple has killed faries before in the past and one way to get revenge on Rumple would be to go after his son who escaped to this world before the curse.

Yes, I know it was already mentioned in the thread before that Tamara could possibly be related to Cinderella’s fairy godmother, but I just wanted to add that I forgot that they did bring her up this year with Rumple saying nobody missed her. It could be true, or it could be the show foreshadowing that someone did in fact miss her and was going to get revenge on Rumple.
Now I’m wondering if Tamara brings Hook to Storybrooke whether she’ll also work with him somehow if she knows or finds out how badly he wants to get revenge on Rumple too. I think it’s likely that she is the one that brings him there unless they just have him show up again without any explanation like Mr. Gold’s car returning to Storybrooke. So it’s possible that he lets something slip on the long car ride to Storybrooke like how he hates Neal’s father because of what he did to the woman he loves or something like that without necessarily giving away that the town is full of people from FTL, and she works that angle to possibly get rid of Rumple like sending him to Neverland. However, I think maybe they target Henry, or something backfires and Henry becomes the target, but this time Rumple makes the right decision by going with his grandson to Neverland instead of being a coward.
I’m not really sure, but I’m just trying to tie the spoilers that we know of to Hook and Tamara doing something that possibly leads to all of the main cast or most of the main cast going to Neverland. (Although I like the idea I read yesterday of Neverland coming to Storybrooke instead because I don’t want the main cast to be separated for that long again like this season.)
Right now I think Greg will just be a pawn to Tamara, but eventually he’ll figure it out, and target Regina and possibly other magical people next season without Tamara’s “help”. It just depends if they keep him sympathetic but gray, I think he’ll just target Regina, but if they do make him darker, he might just go after anyone that does magic.
