August might even have been the one to suggest Tamara take a romantic interest in Neal, to help take his mind off of Emma.
If this plays out, I will feed him to a wood chipper. He needs some serious redemption before this episode is over.

It just seems so intense with all these reveals all at the same time. I’m still processing that Neal is Bae, and that Snow killed Cora. ๐
March 19, 2013 at 2:17 am #180794nonnieParticipantMarch 19, 2013 at 2:18 am #180795RumplesGirlKeymasterI just finished rewatching the first season a few days ago. ๐ Every time I see Rumple drop that potion into the well I yell “DON’T DO IT!! YOU DON’T NEED IT!!”
I wonder how this episode will end. Normally before a big hiatus we get some sort of cliffhanger (Cora and Hook arriving in SB for example). I know Pinocchio gets turned back into a little boy, but is that how it ends? Does it end with the reveal that Greg and Tamara know each other?

We do hear August’s voiceover ask if (someone) is planning to steal the magic of SB.
And we’re all assuming he’s talking to Tamara because she appears to be talking to him in the scene in the woods, but let’s not forget that Snow finds him too, so she may be taking her grandson’s idea and trying to find a way to get rid of magic herself. I still think Tamara is dodgy, but she’s not necessarily the one wanting to steal the magic.

Good point. Wasn’t there a tweet saying that Bae met Tamara in the real world? That may be true but that doesn’t mean Tamara wasn’t from a different world before she met Bae.
It’s been said they met in the real world, yes. It’s assumed by many that the scene where she bumps into him in the street and spills her drink on him will be the first time they meet. August’s bike is parked in the street during that scene. Then Tamara is sitting inside a window with a clear view of Nealfire talking to August before he drives off.
March 19, 2013 at 3:31 pm #180879CrownedWithLaurelsParticipantIt could be Snow, since I can totally see her saying that if/when she finds out about the wardrobe…
More analyzing shall commence at 3pm EDT when I get off work!
Keeper Nealfire's/Bae's scarf, Henry and Neal's bribery ice cream sundae, Baelfire's sword, the coconut map, and more.
March 19, 2013 at 4:31 pm #180896ZieraParticipantWell to start out- Hey, Daniel finally got his ‘normal’ person trying to steal magic! ๐ Yay for him! And I really am hoping Tamara is “HER”, cause…she is! And she needs to stop ruining swanfire. I could see this happening like where Tamara breaks Neal’s heart. Neal like, “You never loved me?” kind of thing. I want to see that. Well, we can wonder about August too! This is going to be dark it seems like. Dark and Exciting! I wonder how that guy knew about him being Pinocchio. I hope he isn’t from the enchanted forest too…that would be dumb… And also, Why does Tamara have to be someone from the Enchanted Forest? Or, Never Land or wherever. How would she have gotten into the real world? It makes me sad that before, it was like…its impossible to go to a world without magic! And then suddenly all these people are here and its ‘easy’… yeah. ๐ ๐

March 19, 2013 at 5:58 pm #180919butterscotchParticipantI don’t know was this said before but, as we know August will be a boy at the end of ths episode which seems a little bit to convinient for some people, mostly Tamara if she does have something to hide and August is the only one that is aware of that. Also she may be responsible for the fact that he's dying in the first place. I mean I know he's wooden but he seems alive and well. Why is he suddenly dying in Storybrooke? Pinocchio could live just fine as wood so my guess is someone does something to him. Is it her or someone else we will see.

RumplesGirl I was just thinking the very same thing about August suggesting to Tamara to take romantic interest in Neal. Here is another idea what if Tamara cast that curse of the Empty Hearted on Neal like Regina wanted to do to Henry. It would explain why Neal who we know even at the end of Tallahassee was still very much in love with Emma is now engaged to Tamara

This is from the thread about the press release for this episode,
Meanwhile, before the curse was cast, August is introduced to a man of magic who may be able to prevent him from turning back into wood โ but at a steep price โ on โOnce Upon a Time,โ SUNDAY, MARCH 24 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
I was just wondering though if Tamara was connected to the mysterious magical man or not because maybe the price that August has to pay is something about making sure that Emma and Nealfire stay apart. Just throwing it out there.
Because with the curse of the empty hearted and with the fountain of youth spell being introduced this season, I wonder if Tamara is a fairy or is magical if she perhaps Tamara will end up using both. First, she used the curse of the empty hearted on Nealfire, and then she’s going to use the fountain of youth spell on August to make sure that he can’t spill any secrets perhaps or maybe she’ll be behind him wanting the spell done on himself.
