KeymasterWelcome back to the show Milah? How did everyone enjoy her return? How did you find her interactions with Rumple (both past and present) and Emma? Does your opinion of her character change at all based on what you saw tonight?

ParticipantI actually really liked Mila tonight. She seemed to have a bit of a dark side in encouraging Rumple to kill the witch doctor man…and I liked that 😛
Present day, she threw a bit of shade at Emma and I liked that too. Honestly, I really appreciated Mila’s return.
My only complaint was the scene where she meets Hook. I felt like there should have been a real bonding between them that would explain why they both fell for eachother, something that made hook see her something more than all the other women hes met on his journeys. They should have bonded and understood eachother over the depressing parts of their life or something, not just sit down, smile, and boom lets have an affair or whatever.
But yeah, I loved mila and actually screamed a bit when she was pushed into the lake."I could have the giant duck as my steed!" --Daniel Radcliffe

ParticipantI’d been waiting forever for the reveal that Emma had been with both Milha’s lover and son. I was hoping for more of a reaction, but whatever. At least it’s no longer swept under the rug.

ParticipantTo be honest…I felt a little sorry for Milah this episode. We were really shown that she did have hope and faith in Rumplestilskin at one point in time, but it all got destroyed because he took away her choices and basically pawned their second born child off when all of that could have been avoided had he just followed her instructions, killed the magic man, and snatched the potion.
It doesn’t excuse her for abandoning Baelfire, but I could see where her breaking point was with Rumple. Her and Rumple’s present day scenes were great and her interaction with Emma was interesting, but probably not explored as much. And I really felt sorry when I learned that all she wanted was a chance to make it up to Baelfire, but was robbed of it by Rumplestilskin who cast her into the River of Souls where she is forced to endure eternal suffering when she could have had the chance to redeem herself.
Neal rolled over once again in his grave, and I just feel that if Rumple denies Milah a reunion with Baelfire, I don’t really think he deserves one either.

I feel like the fact that Gold killed her was the giant elephant in the room…you’d think they would have at least ALLUDED to that. Also grandson Henry gets zero acknowledgement from her. I guess they didn’t really have time for it, except Milah and Hook got a giant, pointless, ret-conny meeting scene, so……

ParticipantAt least Milah looked disgusted. It is pretty skeevy.

Yes what was the point of that? Really pretty pointless. We know Milah was miserable. We know Milah runs away with Hook. So…what have this random set up?

Because they think the audience are dumb and needed to be slapped in the face with, “HEY GUYZ, REMEMBER HOW THESE TWO KNOW EACH OTHER, THEY HUNG OUT AT THE BAR, AND HAD AN AFFAIR, REMEMBER NOW, HUH, YEAH, GOOD.”

ParticipantI actually liked that we got to see the breaking point for Milah. Â It wasn’t just that Rumple was a coward and what not. Â He stripped her of her opportunity to have another child with him. Â That sucks. Â And it was nice to see when Milah first met Hook. Â All we saw was her at a tavern with him through Rumple’s eyes and it made her look horrible. Â Sure, she was in an unhappy marriage, but abandoning your child over that? Â For some pirate? Â Looked bad. Â Still looks bad, just not as bad. Â This episode really showed us how miserable she was and after what Rumple did, I think it justified her behavior a bit. Â And seeing her first moment with Hook helped me understand why she was going to the tavern all the time after. Â It was a nice missing piece I thought.
And gosh was it fitting for her to be taking care of the children.  We all could not make heads or tails of it when we saw the pictures but I actually thought it made sense because of her abandoning Bae.  And I also loved that Rumple “killed” her.  Although she was in an unhappy marriage, and Rumple screwed her over with the kid thing, there are ways to go about it.  Get a divorce so you can have kids with Hook down the road.  Stay in your son’s life, but also move on with yours.  Don’t just run away.  And after all these years, this really confirms for me that it was her that willingly left, as opposed to Hook persuading her or what not.  In their first encounter, he recognized she was married and backed off.  She’s the one who came back.  So in my eyes, she deserved to be completely lost with the lost souls, like I’m sure her son and Rumple originally felt when she left.  And it was fitting Rumple did it.
