Hopefully. He was likely only acting the way he was in the pilot, because food became scarce in the woods past the curse. The way Alice reacted to him also showed that he had changed.

Mine too, and yes, his portrayal in the pilot disapponted me to no end. Hope his reappearance sets the character straight.

If the RQ promised Chesh food or something probably. Chesh did say that food was running out in WL hence why he tried to eat Alice.
