Since we were just chatting about BF’s tulip and Darth Vader’s mediation chamber, I thought I’d share this something I saw on Tumblr:

So I wrote this in another thread on fairies, but in the Disney Fairies lore such as it is for that franchise, the fairies are under a Queen Ree.  The fairies date, and there’s some obvious crushes and mention of the Queen once having been in love with the King of Winter Fairies and things like that.  So maybe it would be fun if there are actually different versions of fairies in the mash-up that is WL reflecting the idea of mash-ups, derivations and fan reinventions itself as a concept.  So maybe Silvermist has nothing to do with Blue’s brand of sneaky fairy.

“If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?” -- Lewis Carroll, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass

I think the thing that bothers me about Blur Fairy here is Tink’s point, Regina’s the kind of person that needs help but Blue immediately shoots her down because of her connections to darkness (Cora, the Dark One).

Regina, to me at this stage, is teetering on the balance between good and evil. She isn’t evil, evil yet but isn’t entirely good either because she fantasizes about having Snow’s head on a platter.

It’s probably a safety precaution.  Tink feels the type of fairy who could be easily manipulated and the fairies serve good and stay away from evil.

    Another rule: fairies don’t kill.

Apparently they only exile you and steal your wand for using dark magic.
