The Blue Fairy Theory is a good one. It is plausible she like Rumple has been in a lot of the storylines and interacted with many characters. It would make sense for her to know a lot of what happened and why not write it down especially if it can help the savior do her job. The book I am willing to guess contains magic or some unlock of magic for Emma. Every story she reads does something to her. I believe she’s read the entire book so she has all of the magic she needs however, her denial mentally blocks her from using any of it. Just like her emotions kept her from seeing Sidney’s lies or others lies. She did say she was a human lie detector.

The blue fairy realized that Gepetto did not follow her instructions since Mary Margeret (Snow White) was in Storybrooke. He instead sent Pinnochio through the portal, against her wishes.

She must have written the book after Henry showed up in Storybrooke. But that’s too convenient of a coincidence – how could she know he was Emma’s child?

    Hmmm.

If the Blue Fairy was aware of Emma and was keeping track of her somehow from afar then she could have known that Emma had a baby.

Actually, my theory is that Rumpelstiltskin wrote the book back in Fairy Tale Land. I’m suspecting that we will eventually find out that Mary Margaret got the book in the pawn shop. I just have a feeling that he is orchestrating everything, including the timing of Henry getting the book and leaving to get Emma.

Rumple is the oldest characterin the series so it is plausible that he knows every single story. Besides he was involved with nearly every single character’s story. The Blue Fairy appeared in many stories too. Perhaps the book was a collective effort with many authors each telling their own story and it was simply put together by one person. That one person put magic into it.

After watching “The Return” and “The Stranger”, I’m thinking Mother Superior/Blue Fairy wrote the book.

The theme and message of the book is “Hope.” The blue fairy was desperate when she spoke to Gepetto about Snow’s child being the savior. The Blue Fairy was the only FTL character to have witnessed most of the stories in the book – an important point. She works in the school so she could have easily placed the book. The blue fairy mentioned she “had to make preparations with the other fairies” before the curse reached them in the castle. Could she have created the book from magic?

I really like this idea! There may be a glitch or two though, when you consider what was left out of the book.

The original author had left out Pinocchio’s story. SOME part of it was in there, because it had the bit about the making of the wardrobe, which he was there for. What motivation would BF have for leaving the rest of his story out?

And if as many suspect, Rumple’s full story isn’t in there either, what motivation would she have for leaving HIM out? Surely a tool for the saviour to use should include information about one of the big bad guys in the story? That’s why up until now, I’d figured Mr Gold wrote it, but now this BF idea has me wondering. Hmmmm.

Another thought that just came to me. How did August know the book existed? We know he knows Mother Superior. So after he came to town, did he go search for whoever Blue Fairy was, because he figured she was his best bet to tell him what he had to do? And did she tell him about the book, and to go edit it?

Maybe August just saw Henry with the book.

If Rumple’s stories were in the book his whole plan and game is effectively over. Everyone who read the book would know that Gold is Rumple. Right the only character who is confirmed to know his identity is Pin/ August and possibly Mother Superior/ BF. Then again if she did why won’t she tell everyone who can help her. I think she only knows Rumple and not that Gold is Rumple.
