I think that because what has happened on the show was not what was originally intended by the writers and therefore all of the carefully built hints and structure in the earlier seasons never panned out makes a lot of what people said years ago pretty meaningless. The writers changed their minds, so i don’t really see the point in going back and telling people that were wrong because something didn’t happen. There is nothing to figure out on this show anymore because the writers quit building the narrative that they were originally building and just started a new narrative and they continue to do that at regular intervals.

I think talking about what we think would have been more interesting or better to have happened would be interesting, but not to go back and be like oh you said this five years ago, you were wrong and therefore you are bad at figuring stuff out. There is nothing to figure out, so no one was wrong.

And I’ve lost another one from my top ten in ‘Think Lovely Thoughts’. The pain… THE PAIN!

Same!!! I’d be interested to know your Top 10 when we’re done with all this because we seem to have similar tastes.

Double and triple check that you are only voting for 5 this time Oncers. I hated to do it, but I had to throw out someone’s votes for 6. I believe I’ve had to do that at least once every round.

The Round 6 Poll is now closed!! There were 21 eligible voters this time, and a few surprises for some I’m sure. The Bottom 5 episodes rather than 4 were eliminated due to ties – each receiving 1 to 4 votes. We bid adieu to the episodes that brought us these quotes: “I want their necks to break from bending,” “Reul Ghorm is an ancient being that rules the night, the original power,” “Whoever created that monstrosity makes the two of us look positively moral,” “I’d rather have nothing than settle for less,” and “Rrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiiip.”

1×02 – The Thing You Love Most
1×07 – The Heart is a Lonely Hunter
    1×19 – The Return
    2×16 – The Miller’s Daughter
2×22 – And Straight on ‘til Morning

That means we have our official Top 9! Here are the episodes in no particular order:

    3×11 – Going Home
6×20 – The Song in Your Heart
    2×04 – The Crocodile
    2×06 – Tallahassee
    1×12 – Skin Deep
    1×01 – Pilot
    1×22 – A Land Without Magic
    2×14 – Manhattan
    1×08 – Desperate Souls

A few questions to consider and discuss below:

    – What were the biggest surprises for you? What episode/s are you most disappointed to see go?

    – Why do you think the episodes in the Bottom 5 were the episodes they were, and why do think the episodes remaining are what they are?

    – Will these results change how you vote in the next round?

    – What predictions do you have for the next round’s results?

    – Other thoughts?

Round 7 is now Live for the next 48 hours until Saturday, 7 PM Central. IMPORTANT: VOTE ONLY FOR YOUR TOP 5 FAVORITE EPISODES THIS TIME. The episode with the fewest votes will be eliminated and rank in 9th place. Happy voting and discussing!!!

Wow that is heartbreaking.  Miller’s Daughter was in my top 5 and the Thing You Love the Most I debated back and forth on several times.  I am really sad to see both go.

There are only five episodes left that i even like at this point. I can only hope that the musical and the Crocodile and Desperate Souls go soon.

LOL all mine are safe. This round is actually really easy for me. A lot of the most recent cuts were in my top 20 but my top 5 are pretty easy.

    Voted!

“The Miller’s Daughter” is an incredible ep. Sad to see it go too. I’m even more sad to see “The Return” go. This may be a Rumple friendly poll, but that is the ultimate Rumple episode in my opinion. So much of the show’s heart and backbone is in that episode in my opinion – the whole reason for the curse revealed: a regretful father trying to reunite with his son.
