What were the biggest surprises for you? What wasn’t surprising?

Biggest Surprise: Dreamcatcher.  I thought that was actually a pretty solid episode and I thought for sure someone would have voted for it.

Not Surprising: For the most part the top 10

What episode are you most disappointed to see go?

Dreamcatcher and Family Business (just because it is somewhat a Belle episode)

Why do you think the episodes in the Top 10 and Bottom 20 were the episodes they were?

The top 10 where all written by Adam and Eddy or Jane Espenson except for the Crocodile and Hat Trick which were both written by David Goodman.  So as much as we like to complain that A and E can’t write a good show they sure know how to write good episodes especially early on.  Jane is no surprise at all. The only one I thought for sure would be in the top 10 and wasn’t is Desperate Souls

Bottom 20: Were basically filler episodes or kinda of slow and boring

What were the biggest surprises for you?

7:15 A.M isn’t in the top 10. Hat Trick is a good episode, but I liked 715 better and would rank it above HT.

Also, Desperate Souls not being in the top 10 is mind blowing to me.

Also, VERY surprised that Quiet Minds wasn’t instantly cut.

What wasn’t surprising?

The episodes that were cut don’t surprise me at all.

Honestly, I think that’s because Dreamy looks better in retrospect. In S1 I didn’t enjoy the episode at all, but 6 years later and it’s much better than some of the episodes that have aired in the past two years, at least.

Will knowing these results change how you vote in the next round?

Nope, all my top 20 are safe!

I was surprised that Desparate Souls wasn’t in the top ten. None of the eliminated episodes were very surprising, though I think seeing anything fall from season 1 in the first round is a surprise. Even if it was my bottom ranked episode from that season.

Ok I’ll go vote now. This really is interesting.

Yes, it’s definitely one of my top favorites and so foundational to the series. I also agree with TheWatcher, I was surprised the musical episode didn’t make the Top 10 either.
