Scanning thru the upcoming episode titles, I believe Mr. K may be the Mad Hatter.
Being entitled Hat Trick, I believe this episode is centered around Alice in Wonderland. Mr. K looked a bit stern or “mad” when we last saw him. And the “hat trick” could tie in with the 3 copies of forms he made Emma fill out.[adrotate group="5"]February 13, 2012 at 9:06 pm #137231hjbauParticipantI think the Mad Hatter might be stuck in the same place that Belle is at right now.

I’m guessing there was a scene of Sidney and Emma going to see Mr. K. at public records for the boxes they got to investigate Regina.

I know it has been said the nurse and the janitor at the asylum are like characters from the movie One Flew Over the Cuckoo Nest, but that could just be their Storeybrook counterparts.
In Alice’s wonderland they could be the Red Queen and her husband!
And except for her hair color, Belle in her blue dress could be “Alice”. Perhaps on her way back to her village (or maybe she decided to return to Rumple), the Evil Queen could have captured her by having her fall into a rabbit hole and end up in Wonderland.
Then when the Big Curse came, all of Wonderland turned into the basement of the hospital. Belle/Alice would logically end up committed to the asylum whether she claims she was the beauty who fell in love with a beast or she was a girl trapped in Wonderland.

February 27, 2012 at 3:30 pm #137755SlurpeezParticipantFor clarity’s sake, who is Mr. K? Do you mean Gabe Khouth, who plays the character Mr. Clark in Storybrooke and possibly one of the seven dwarfs? Why would he be the Mad Hatter?

February 27, 2012 at 8:36 pm #137773SlurpeezParticipantThanks, that clears up my confusion. I don’t think Mr. Krzyszkowski (aka “Mr. K) is the mad hatter since another actor has already been cast for episode 17 called Hat Trick. According to TV Guide, Sebastian Stan has won the role of the Mad Hatter in FTL (and I guess also Jefferson in Storybrooke). http://www.tvguide.com/News/Once-Upon-Time-Sebastian-Stan-1043733.aspx
