Theory I have about Baelfire

This theory I have about Baelfire but it probably won’t happen:

Baelfire went through the green portal from the bean and he landed in Kansas,

He could have met Dorothy and they became friends and somehow they found a portal to Oz and he decided to stay in Oz and he became the Wizard and Dorothy went back home to Kansas with the ruby slippers. A few years later, he found a way back to Kansas but he could go back and forth to Oz.

He grew up in Oz but the time is different there and he is still young.

I know this won’t happen but I really hope he is the Wizard of Oz because it would be Like Father, Like Son type of thing.

Also if he was in Oz, he met Jefferson and he was the one that told him that the slippers were moved. Also when he came back to Kansas he met August and they became best friends, and he was the one that told August about his dad Rumpelstitskin and the dagger. Maybe he told August about the ”dagger” because he found out about August’s condition and him being Pinocchio and told him that there was a dagger that would help him but he had to pretend to be Baelfire to make the plan work. Another theory I have is that August told Baelfire about the curse and maybe Baelfire had a feeling that his father made the curse but maybe he doesn’t know is that the curse was made to find him.

Also August had a Kansas license plate on his motorcycle so he could have met Baelfire and Dorothy when Baelfire came back from Oz.

At first I thought this was going to be a silly theory but I was pleasantly surprised. This is a pretty cool idea and I never caught that August’s license plate was from Kansas, good eye! Your post also made me think of a really cool dynamic that they might explore similar to the one from LOST with the two brothers on the island, one light and one dark.

Following your theory, Bae could become the Wizard of Oz develop his own power and allies in that realm while, well, we know how his father has turned out. It would be quite interesting to see a conflict play out between Bae and Rumple with them both wielding considerable power.
