I was listening to your old podcast about different worlds not being cursed and henry’s school mates….and since I am looking forward to The Little Mermaid being apart of Once Upon A Time, I am always looking for ways she could appear….since I don’t think we have seen her in SB yet…maybe she wasn’t cursed… Maybe she is in a different world…since she lives in the ocean and eric’s castle isn’t surrounded by forest. therefore possibly outside of the curse boarder

That also made me think about how the evil queen could be Ariel’s Ursula (like Rumplestiltskin was Belle’s beast)…and Lana said she was channeling her inner Ursula 🙂
also the fact that in the disney version of The Little Mermaid, Ursula is using Ariel to ultimately get the triton and crown to rule the ocean….maybe Ariel is another one of the evil queen’s “helpers” like Jefferson is…

I think your theory is a real possibility. In episode 1×12 Skin Deep, Regina went to visit Rumplestiltksin to see about a “certain mermaid.” There is a lot of speculation that we'll be seeing Ariel in season 2!

I completely agree with you. Storybrooke can’t have ALL story book characters, but everyone who was cursed was sent to Storybrook. SO, the other characters either must be in another world, or there must be a border to the Enchanted Forest.

Are the new characters for season 2 already in our world maybe got here via magic beans that the Blue Fairy got away from them, or realm jumped to our world.
Maybe they did not know who they were until the magic came back to SB, which triggered them to know who they were and were attracted to SB.
