So in the episode we see Cinderella and the prince get married and as they are dancing they share a laugh/dance with Snow and James. I have a hard time believing everything was hunky dory at the time because if they were already married, then they already know the EQ had plans. Weren’t they too busy worrying and trying to figure out what her plans were? It seemed a little outta left field for me. I’m not upset by it or anything but it made me think they all seem too happy knowing something evil is coming …but who knows maybe they were just trying to have some fun before Sh*t hit the fan.
Also, and i thought this was funny. MM has dinner prepared, gives a plate to Emma, MM puts her plate on the table to sit and eat but Mr. Gold knocks on the door and as he’s about to explain Emma why he needs her help, MM says “I’m gonna go take a bath” Umm what happened to dinner lol – not a big deal at all just funny. whatever she cooked looked delicious 😆

I always thought that maybe they were happy and carefree because nothing had happened yet and they thought the evil queen wouldn’t follow through on her threat.Yea, you’re probably right. I was only thinking that because I remember James saying that Snow has been stressing non stop. I wonder how much time was between the wedding and the curse. for sure the 9 months of being pregnant but i would imagine maybe a couple of years?

I think they were all relieved to celebrate and enjoy one evening where they didn’t have to worry about the Evil Queen’s threat.

I do remember that. I think, like Henry, MM’s wary of Mr. Gold.
I figured Snow and Charming weren’t married yet. Maybe betrothed? Remember Snow told Cinderella that she was an inspiration to all of them.
As for the second scene, what always struck me was that MM was clearly a little nervous around Mr Gold and was clearly making a gracious exit so Gold and Emma could talk (Gold kind of gave MM a look, I thought). What really stood out to me was that she announced her intention to go get naked in the bathtub. :-). I don’t know about you but when we have company, or even people working on something at the house (the furnace or whatever) I never want to take a shower because, well, I feel weird being naked when there are “strangers” in the house.
Although I suppose if it was Mr. Gold showing up at the door……..

@Weedith I thought the same THING!!! lol I was like wow MM seems too pure to be announcing that! 😆 and believe me, I also think about this show A lot. Really love it.
But, I’m gonna say you all make good points it could very well have been right before the wedding or very closely after Snows and James’s
I am not sure if we know whether or not Snow and Charming are married at this time. I think everyone seems to think that Cinderella was pregnant right then, but not necessarily. Rumpel may have just been saying that when they got pregnant the baby was his and not that they were pregnant then. And it was clearly a different day when Cinderella tried to run away and told Thomas that she was pregnant. It could have been years. This could have easily been before Snow and Charming married if they wanted it to be.
I thought it was a little weird that Mary would take a bath with Gold in the house also. Or at least to announce it was weird. I actually think that Emma gave Mary a look.
Someone help me make sense of the timeline here. Snow and Charming seem to be married. Let’s say Cinderella gets pregnant that night. Her new deal with Rumpy would be about 8 months later when she “tricks” him. Then Rumpy is put in prison. Then Snow and Charming come to see Rumpy when Snow seems to be in her third trimester. That means there was about two years between Snow’s wedding and the curse being enacted?
Actually, as I watch “The Price of Gold” again, it seems to be even more messed up. So, let’s talk this out……..Cinderella didn’t give birth in FTL because Ashley had the baby in Storybrooke. So, at Cinderella’s wedding, we have to assume Snow was pregnant already. Their pregnancies should have been closely timed. Cinderella is still pregnant after Snow gives birth and the curse is enacted.
So, does Snow and Charming go to see Rump very soon after he is imprisoned? I don’t see how the timing works, otherwise.
