Interesting that the Young Pinocchio would tweet out the article. Could he be returning, too?

Colour me shocked that they’re bringing him back, and for multiple episodes.
I guess it will probably be Author related, though I hope the Author didn’t teach him anything about changing the book because that wouldn’t make sense because the pages change magically but August did it manually.
It would make sense if the Author is how August found out about Neal, but that alone wouldn’t require a multi-episode arc.
I’m probably the least excited about his return since he’s not my favorite character. But I guess it’s needed to confirm once and for all, he’s not the author of the book but likely knew who the author was or is.
I have a theory. Either Team Operation Mongoose or Team Rumple/Queens of Darkness think about August as a possible link to the author, so one of them ages August back into an adult to possibly get some answers out of him. Outright turning him back into an adult sounds more like something the latter would do. And we know that Rumple has the power to age people, as he threatened Smee that he could wind the clock forward too. The other question is would August regain his memories once aged back, or would they have to give him his memories back another way?
Okay, runaway idea(s)…
Perhaps in addition to Regina/Mal backstory in “Enter The Dragon”, we get more information about “the dragon” character that Tamara took out in Hong Kong…and perhaps some tie to the “Home Office” she was working for at the time…which could tie into Lily’s role (if she’s Tigerlily)…?
Or, maybe I’d better stop before I make myself dizzy.

I don’t know. I think that since we now know he will be in multiple episodes, and that 4×14 is an Evil Queen/Maleficent backstory, there’s at least a chance he could be showing up in the present somehow aged into an adult again. Of course this may just be wishful thinking since I really didn’t like how they turned him into a child again.
I’m actually more excited that August is back than I am about seeing Cruella or Ursula. That man has some explaining to do. He has interesting back stories with almost everyone.
Originally I wondered why ep. 14 was titled Enter The Dragon when the the dragon, Maleficent has already been introduced this season. I wondered at the time if they could be referring to the dragon Tamara killed.
With the news of August returning, I can’t help but wonder if it’ll be in a series of flashbacks or memories extracted from young Pinocchio. I always expected August to be connected to the author somehow, as would the Blue Fairy, who made finale preparations before the first dark curse hit. Would Pinocchio be transformed back into a man? That would seem kind of like an unhappy ending for Geppetto and him though, since Pinocchio being a boy gave them a second chance to be father and son.

These were my thoughts as well. We really need to see more of The Dragon from that episode. I really hate it when they throw in some random plot devicey character and never flesh them out.
I would like to see a link between this dragon and Maleficient.
To reference the bible, perhaps when the dragon swept his tail, Lily was one of the stars that was knocked from its position and fell to the earth.
