Thinking about the timeline as it relates to the events in Arendelle makes my head hurt. You could say it gives me brain freeze.
Anyway, speaking of S4 and the timeline, I noticed that you had 1969 listed for Walt Disney’s death year, rather than 1966.

No, there’s my spreadsheet (the one in my signature) and there’s the site timeline. I checked both when you mentioned it and both said 1966…I’ll triple check the site timeline though.
Okay, you were right–it said 1966 in the spreadsheet that powers it, but there was an extra character in the date that somehow affected it weirdly. Fixed now, I hope.

@keb, what do you estimate the month and year is on the timeline at the end of season 4?

We know it’s about 9-10 weeks after Rumple was banished, which looks like it would have been in late April 2013.

Did some updating on the timeline. Flashbacks SHOULD be up-to-date through 407 now. I still need to add present events from 403-407 (which I have documented on my personal spreadsheet).
I made some executive decisions and adjusted the dates for the start of Skin Deep back by two months. That sets the main flashbacks of the Frozen arc in November/December 1980. I also set Elsa’s birthday in July and Anna’s in April based on evidence from their film and Frozen Fever (picking random days that looked nice to me, for Reasons).
And I’m giving in on the curtains issue. It now occurs a couple months after.
But in a lovely bit, I have Rumple giving her the library in the Dark Castle on Christmas Eve, 1980. Which is a happy little consolation for the curtains.
As always when I do a bunch of shifts on the timeline and add in new stuff, I welcome constructive criticism, things that are missing, things where the dates didn’t get set right etc. Thanks!

There’s a bigger plothole in S3. Belle first learned about Bae some time after the curtains (it is the next flashback, after she fell, but there is indication of time skip, as all the curtains were open by then), and that’s when she met Regina, so that doesn’t leave any room for her to witness Bae’s birthday in “Going Home.”
