I think after her tine with Hook was when she went to Regina.
Ah OK, gotcha. I’m still up in the air over whether I think she was in NL pre-Regina or not. I do still think he had to have known her in her current state though, even if she’d been there pre-Regina, because Hook was in NL up until just before the Curse, and Tink was probably in NL in her wing-less state since not long after she lost her wings, which was about 15 years (we think) pre-Curse, which puts both Tink and Hook in NL in the decade leading up to the Curse, even if they’d also known each other previously.

Haven’t you seen the Disney fairies movies? 😛 Tinkerbell is a tinker fairy. Her job is to fix and build things. Assuming they are taking after the Disney movies. Maybe Tink got tired of being a Tinker fairy and decided she wanted to be a FGM. She wasn’t happy with the tinker job at first in the movies

Well yeah that is what it is in the book too. “She’s called Tinker Bell because she fixes pots and kettles.” But we don’t know that she was doing that in the EF.

It’s total crack and never going to happen, but there is just something there. Phee alerted me to this post: http://amuseoffyre.tumblr.com/post/64027889408/you-need-love-its-the-most-wonderful-and
Okay, total going off the rails. If I’m going to defend this I might as well go full out. I read a spoiler last night (don’t know if it’s true or not) that Maurice was a merchant before he was knighted for something. So maybe as a younger man he was a bit more attractive (Henry Sr. shrunk and got bald, maybe Mo got hefty) and met a certain fairy. Being a bit rogue, she fell in love with this merchant and ran off with him and had a daughter. Somehow the evil Blue Fairy lured her back in and made her abandon her family. Skip ahead 20 some years. Tink is still trying to repent for her errant ways and sees a way to salvation in helping Regina. After Regina fails to find her new love, Tink is bitter because she’s throwing away this chance when she didn’t get the chance of her own. Wasted opportunities. So when she goes back to the Blue Fairy and Blue tells her it was her second chance, maybe she’s referring to her original sin of abandoning her calling for a mortal man. Muahahaha.
I really don’t believe any of this *she tries to tell herself*. Really, I don’t. But it’s nice to postulate.

The almost identical shots alone wouldn’t have seemed especially curious to me, but the fact that they were both giving out pretty much exactly the same advice in their scenes, it made me go “hmmmmmm” is all.
So when she goes back to the Blue Fairy and Blue tells her it was her second chance, maybe she’s referring to her original sin of abandoning her calling for a mortal man.
It is curious that Blue said that this was her 2nd chance, which implies she’s misbehaved in some serious way previously. BTW, one of the things Blue was snippy about was that Tink got big when she wasn’t supposed to. You’ve gotta get big if you’re gonna have an affair with a human. *dumps gasoline on Jo’s crackpot fire and skips away cackling* 😉

Yes that was curious. And I think for the time being, I am going to avoid TinkerMama but what would have been her first chance–if it wasn’t Moe. How old are fairies? Or rather–how old in Tink? Did Tink once take a little boy to NL to get away from his abusive father *cough*Pan*cough. And maybe teach him how to cut off his shadow so he could bring other lost boys to the island and have friends? Is that why PP trusts Tink?
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"October 15, 2013 at 3:49 pm #216131SlurpeezParticipantObviously Hook and Tink know each other, but what do you think their history is? It looked like they worked together in the past–was it against Pan? But then why does Pan trust Tink? what is the history between Pan and Tink? How did TInk even get to NL? Can we trust Tinkerbell?
The way that Tinkerbell and Hook looked at each other suggests they have a history, and that Hook and Tink are attracted to each other. Hook said to Tink, “After all we’ve been through together, a little assitance?” which makes me think they were involved. I think that Tink is a double-agent, which suggests that while she has Pan’s trust, she also has a good side which aims to help people (like how she tried to help Regina in the flashback). I think Tink CAN be trusted, at least to help Hook. She seems to be really into him. Also, there is a reason that Tink didn’t kill Regina. Tink doesn’t want to be dark and Regina knows that, which is why she gave Tink the power to kill her or not. If I had to guess how Tink got to NL, I’d say that Blue banished her there. Or maybe PP recruited her. It’s not totally clear at this stage.

October 15, 2013 at 4:12 pm #216137PriceofMagicParticipantPerhaps Tink’s second chance was after Blue told her off in the flower cloud. Tink said that everyone deserves a second chance which makes it seem like she wasn’t aware she was on her second chance. Had she done something serious before, then she would’ve known.
I don’t think Tinkermomma works out timeline wise anyway. Assuming Belle is the same age as Snow, Belle would already be a young girl in 303.

Keeper of FelixOctober 15, 2013 at 4:15 pm #216138SlurpeezParticipantWhy assume that Tinkerbell and Belle are the same age? Yes, the look the same age, but fairies seem to be forever young. The BF is at least as old as Rumple, who is over 300-years-old, and yet the BF doesn’t appear to have aged at all. In terms of age, Tink could be twice Belle’s age. We just don’t know.
