The way that Tinkerbell and Hook looked at each other suggests they have a history, and that Hook and Tink are attracted to each other. Hook said to Tink, “After all we’ve been through together, a little assitance?” which makes me think they were involved.
Jane Espenson tweeted that they had “sparky” history but also said that if it meant romantic we’d have to keep watching. I do love me some Hookriel but I’m currently heavily cheating with CaptainFairy
I think Tink CAN be trusted, at least to help Hook. She seems to be really into him. Also, there is a reason that Tink didn’t kill Regina. Tink doesn’t want to be dark and Regina knows that, which is why she gave Tink the power to kill her or not. If I had to guess how Tink got to NL, I’d say that Blue banished her there. Or maybe PP recruited her. It’s not totally clear at this stage.
I think she can be trusted, unless you’re Peter Pan. For some reason PP trusts Tink but he shouldn’t. But we can.
I don’t think Tinkermomma works out timeline wise anyway. Assuming Belle is the same age as Snow, Belle would already be a young girl in 303.
Unless all fairies are immortal and never age.

So it would work for inverse Tinkermomma–Belle as laugh-momma to TB 😛

October 16, 2013 at 3:23 am #216274sweetgrassParticipantI am about to propose some serious crack. I know there was lot of speculation that Rumple was a Lost Boy, which didn’t make sense to me given that his father was known in their village as a coward, but I thought maybe I was wrong given Rumple’s past with PP.
Then I saw the stills for episode 3.04 and I am thinking maybe Hook is the lost boy and that he knew Tinker Belle from when he was a child and I wonder if his first time in Neverland predates Pan’s arrival in Neverland. Maybe Hook calls her Lady Bell in the way a child usually refers to an adult with the Miss, Mrs or Mr title.
Maybe, based on the stills, Rumple cut a deal with Pan to send Pan willingly to Neverland for eternal youth in order to get Bae back from Pan’s cult. Initially I thought Pan and Rumple were brothers but the 3.04 stills have me doubting.
As for Hook and the saucy looks between Hook and TinkerBell..
When he came back as an adult, they may have picked up us friends, before Tink was de-winged. I don’t know if they were friends with benefits, since fairies can’t love. But it seemed to me that Tink was watching Hook and Emma very intensely in the coconut scene and Tink was known for her jealousy.
What if Tink is jealous of Emma and she tries to get rid of Emma, either by betraying her to Pan or by trying to convince Hook that Bae is the one for Emma. I could spin up a whole lot of scenarios.
Keeper of Hook and Emma's smoldering first kiss, a certain Pirate's sauciness, the Evil Queen's snarkiness, Grumpy's gruffness and a drop of true love to make it all go down smooth.

Tink was still a fairy in 303 at the time Belle would’ve been a little girl. Tink didn’t realise she was on her second chance which makes me think she hadn’t done anything serious before then otherwise she would’ve known.

Keeper of FelixOctober 16, 2013 at 7:23 am #216288kfchimeraParticipantI don’t think it makes sense for Hook to have been there as a lost boy that knew Tink either due to what PoM saidabout TinkerMomma. TB seems like she is new at this fairy game, and due to timeline, Hook would have had to exit NL in order to be around to meet Milah, then 7 years with her oh so then the bean trip to NL. He might have been a Lost Boy too or be related to Pan, but Tink I think was a new arrival in NL after Hook had been there awhile.

October 16, 2013 at 7:52 am #216292PriceofMagicParticipantHook couldn’t have been in Neverland as a boy. He was excited to go there in The Crocodile but not so eager in ASOTM. Hook said he spent ages trying to escape, since Neverland is so difficult to get out of, Hook wouldn’t just be able to leave as a boy then find it difficult as an adult. Also in ASOTM, Felix warned Hook about Pan since he was new to the island, if Hook had been there before, Felix would’ve recognised him. Felix recognised Bae even though he’d been away from Neverland for at least 11 years and had morphed from Dylan Schmid to Michael Raymond-James.
Tink would’ve had to turn up in Neverland whilst Hook and Bae were there. Also Tink would’ve fit in with the Lost Boys as a “Lost Girl” since she was considered a lost cause by Blue Fairy and abandoned.

Keeper of FelixOctober 16, 2013 at 9:07 am #216303RumplesGirlKeymasterI agree that Hook was never in NL as a boy. So whatever history he and Tink have it took place for the 250+ years that he spent there. If Tink was banished to NL right after the events of QACF then that’s about 10 years before the Curse. Hook came to FTL maybe a year before the Curse (we’re not 100% sure). So they would have known each other in NL for maybe 9 years.

unless Peter Pan arrived after Hook left the first time and turned Neverland dark. It m would eexplain how Hook knew about Neverland.

But wouldn’t he know she had no power if he met her after the de-winging?
Like I said this is a crack theory but I am very curious about next two episodeas.

I feel like this is up in the air–she somehow helped Hook while he was in NL, “the last time I was here.” I think she still had that bag of pixie dust and was rationing it for the past few years and used some of it to help Hook.
