I approve of this casting decision. She certainly has a Tink look to her. Fun fact, this is what Tink’s original reference model and voice actress looked like. I see a bit of a resemblance, especially the face:

I just read an amazing fan theory on Tumblr about the surprise connection between Tink and a character who was on stage on Comic-Con 2013.

Tinkerbell as Belle’s Mother Theory Reasons

1. Original tale, Beauty’s real mother was fairy.
2. Blue eyes.
3. Same accents.
4. Tinkerbell = Belle
5. We know nothing about her mother.
6. RC said we would see Belle in Neverland, but in a way we would never expect (mirrors and dreams are the way we expect it right?)
7. A&E said there is surprising connection
8. Rumple said Belle is a “flicker of light,” Tinkerbell is shown to glow or to look like a light.
9. Fairies can love, ex. Nova. Blue Fairy just says they can’t, doesn’t make it true.
10. Belle used fairy dust to restore Phillip. If anyone use fairy dust like that what does it mean?

I can sort of almost kind of get behind this? There’s enough to make you really consider it as a possibility, that’s for sure. Very interesting theory!

HE – Belle used fairy dust on Philip to change him back into a human. Somebody help me on that episode name?
