I think that ultimately, Tink will have to believe in herself, but it’ll take others giving her props to build up her self confidence enough.
I wonder if the pixie dust really did glow, or if it was a little nudge from Regina, to help put Tink in a more positive mindset? Bit of a, “thanks for having believed in me,” gift?
I completely agree with this. I think in the end it is probably going to end up being that Tink needs to believe in herself first in order to get her wings back and become a fairy again. I even will go on to say that Blue will say the same thing along the lines of “you just needed to believe in yourself” which I hope doesn’t happen because I think there is no originality in this.
I do think that having people believe in her is key to getting her wings back because in boosts up her confidence which was ultimately shot down when Regina said she was a bad fairy. I believe this to be the reason the pixie dust glowed, maybe she did believe her back when she called her a bad fairy. But I swear if it goes along the lines that Blue saw that she no longer believed in herself and that’s the reason she also added to her down fall, no, just no.
Sorry – I still think Blue is good! But I do suspect that she won’t initially be willing to restore Tink to active fairy status. However, when she sees that people believe in Tink, I think she will relent.
I wonder if there is a rule that a fairy can only intervene in the lives of mortals if the pure of heart wish for assistance. Tinkerbell would’ve broken the rule by helping Regina who was not pure hearted at that point.
All magic comes with a price!
Keeper of FelixI think Blue is just constrained by rules, and isn’t sneaky (just plot devicey). They could make her sneaky because how they wrote her but not sure they intended it all along in some master plan. Even as Sneaky Fairy, she would be Sneaky and Ineffective with how things have gone down depending on what motive they were giving her (like restoring magic might sort of kind of work in some chess match with fate setting limits for her).
Anyway, I would like to see Tink restored to being a fairy. I liked that Wendy and Tink had that conversation. I’m just sort of curious though, are either of them headed for heartbreaking confrontation with Pan?
“If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?” -- Lewis Carroll, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass

I’m really interested in this backstory.
We haven’t gotten the full story of PP/Tink; PP/Hook; Hook/Tink; Wendy/Tink and maybe Wendy/Hook.
