I agree with EvilQueen, but do want to point out that this world is no longer a world without magic. But, I think this again shows that the curse isn’t fully broken; the residents of SB only woke up, but they didn’t revert to what they were before the curse.

Interesting! I wonder how the giant goes from being a giant in present day fairytale land to a normal sized guy in Storybrooke. I wonder if Hook had anything to do with it?
My theory on Tiny: ( based on spoilers)
Cora restored Lake Gnostos with it’s healing powers
Hook restored the petrified bean. They planted it an it grew into a bean stalk that produced bean pods. I am sure they over looked some of the bean pods or after they left the stalk more beans were produced.
The Giant got the beans and made portal coming through to SB. ( The towns people fish him out of the hole) Because our magic is funky he is a large man but not a giant in this country…. Have no idea what his mission is.
Producers are using FILLER STORIES to get us to SWEEPS WEEK when they pull out all the stops. These stories will slowly advance the main arc of the stories but it will also advance us to new stories and plots leading to the grand finale.
I wonder if the giant has another bean, plants it, and the beanstalk takes him up to our world, like the beanstalk in FTL took Emma to his world. Maybe the beanstock broke thru the ground, and they were actually helping him up.
i think hook threw the bean he had in the water, where a portal opened up, and flushed out in the bay by storybrooke.
If you have ever grown beans you would know the stalk keeps producing until the stalk dies off. You can have a bumper crop and if you pick them all the stalk just produces more beans. I think Cora & Hook planted the petrified bean that was restored. Picked off the first crop… but the Giant got the follow up second crop that is why he is coming to SB.
Theory … HOOK stole something precious to the Giant and he is coming after it.
THAT IS MY THEORY AND I AM STICKING TO IT !!!
