Didn’t they filmed a car chase scene through SB for this ep, with Sheriff Graham chasing someone? I’m guessing it was this car, and it was the first time anyone tried to leave town, and they ended up going BAM at the borderline, and thus, the legend of bad things happening when people try to leave town was born.

Awww man. That’s very plausible and now the Owen/Ben (one of which is secretly Greg) theory doesn’t look so solid.
But the pics of the car chase, made it look like Graham was still the town proper. And who is he chasing???"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"March 10, 2013 at 3:43 pm #178691SlurpeezParticipantIt could be the car chase scene, but I was thinking that the car crash happened as someone from outside of town tried to enter, like when Greg entered and crashed into Hook.

March 10, 2013 at 3:55 pm #178694RumplesGirlKeymasterThe two don’t need to be exclusive do they? If the curse wasn’t working at 100% in the first week then who is to say Owen and Ben didn’t enter the town, only to have Graham (under the order of Regina) chase them out again, but then someone crashes.
Seems a bit of a stretch, I know.

And when the curse was broken he became drawn to the town because he is from there but forgot once he crossed over the town line and now has come back as Greg?
March 10, 2013 at 4:19 pm #178705RumplesGirlKeymasterWhat if not everyone’s memories were erased, there was a fluke and Owen and his mom still had their memories and they tried to make a break for it. The mother died and Owen was brought back to SB, but at some point he escaped and fled, to come back as Greg. If he was super young at the time, he might have convinced himself later in life that all that he believed was untrue (having two lives in your head…the life you thought you knew and the life everyone else tells you that you need to have) or the trauma of losing his mom could have blocked out the FTL memories. That would help the theory that he might be the Wizard of Oz.

He’s not listed on IMDB for this ep yet, but that cast list isn’t complete, because they don’t even have Jamie Dornan there yet.

I can’t imagine him being the wizard. That would just be way too much going on. We are going to see Neverland and to introduce another world at the same time? That would be way too much, even for these writers. We would lose track of worlds through episodes and they can’t have that going on.

Then he may very well be a normal guy who got caught up on SB. I just hope we get some answers about Greg in this episode. If Cora dies tonight, we need a new threat to take us to the end of the season.
