Thanks, why would he have Red Hair instead of Black Hair? ❓

Wooden Pinocchio and little boy Pinocchio had red hair. It’s like when August grew up, his hair turned darker. As for why it’s black now…no idea. Except maybe that’s just the color of the wood?

Hair can darken naturally as a person ages. Otherwise, it’s possible that August dyed his hair dark brown and wore blue contacts to disguise his identity. He’s probably had a hard life on the streets and got into some trouble as a young man. We know he stole the 20K that was meant for Emma and fled to Thailand. Maybe August has a history of owing people money which he can’t repay, which is why he fled to Asia. He could be a compulsive gambler, a con-man, or an ex-member of the Mob. Who knows?
