ParticipantI think Sandman works, or some mythological type figure, a God like Ursula perhaps? They have dipped into Greek myth before with Midas. It could lead to hercules/hades in a follow up on wraith with Phil and Aurora maybe?
I also think they have been planting clues this season to set up the next arc for 2nd half and as this half is done, crazy crack pot time: What if Oz is where wraiths take souls, a sort of underworld? We talked before about an Oz movie that Ethan Embry (greg) was in that sounded spookily like OUAT.
Well there is also a book:
The exciting new sequel to the Wizard of Oz!
The Land of Oz is dying. Emerald City has been conquered and the most valuable item in Oz is missing. The race for the Ozma is on and only one person knows where it is. Dorothy Gale.
There’s just one problem, Dorothy has grown up and forgotten all about her adventures in Oz. She’s been living in New York, working in an office cubicle, chained to her desk, wishing to escape her dreary, miserable existence. On one chilly November day, she gets her wish. An old enemy from Oz has tracked her down, sending her running for her life. Now Dorothy must follow a mysterious trail of clues left by her younger self, if she hopes to survive.
How can she get back to Oz if she doesn’t remember the way? And where is the Ozma?

KeymasterI still believe the Shadow might be connected to the Sandman. He is definitely someone with a lot of knowledge about Neverland.
The Shadow did say that children only came to Neverland in their dreams.

Participant1.) We shall all rejoice as I said that purple eyed shadow impersonating Belle was NOT the shadow of Pan
the eyes and body shape gave it away. 2.) I think this shadow is a benevolent being, belonging to no one. It is a host, perhaps overseer of the boys who visit in their dreams. He just keeps things in check. Of course, when Malcolm comes along and tries to throw things out of balance, he takes a 300 year plan in order to get him out of there. But this is one theory. 3.) It COULD be Chernabog. He could have been living on Bald Moubtain, in NL. Feeding off nightmares perhaps? He could have his own purpose in what he did with Pan
It;s all part of Chernabogs plan Watcher….This entire series is part of his plan.

ParticipantHey guys, I’m new here – but I’ve been keeping up with your forums for a while now. What if the Shadow is somehow affiliated with the Blue Fairy? And either she teamed up with the Shadow to inspire Malcolm to want to become Peter Pan so that the whole curse plan could be enacted for OR the Shadow enlisted her aid once Malcolm did become Peter Pan (maybe there was nothing special about the whole Rumple thing before). I tend to think the former because of the spinsters. AND if the Shadow was affiliated with Zoso, that would explain quite a bit.

Welcome to the madhouse!
And welcome to Sneaky Fairy is Sneaky central. A great majority of us think the BF is an evildoer.

ParticipantI think he is the incarnations of the darkest dreams of the children. Neverland gives them all their wishes. He is the price to keep balance. He is Chernabog. The guardian of Darkness.

ParticipantActually new thought: what if the Shadow is being controlled by the Blue Fairy, and the whole hourglass is an illusion made to set Malcolm/Peter Pan off on a quest to find the heart of the truest believer. Because perhaps later on, maybe in Oz, Henry is the only one who can defeat the Blue Fairy and she needs to find a way to very indirectly get rid of him?

I will accept anything that makes Sneaky Fairy Sneaky. It has been the one theory I refuse to give up since S1. I also think the BF might be sisters/allies of the Wicked Witch.

What about her being Glinda? I don’t know if I read it here or elsewhere, but I read something about how sneaky Glinda was – sounds very BF-like
