What about her being Glinda? I don’t know if I read it here or elsewhere, but I read something about how sneaky Glinda was – sounds very BF-like
That’s possible too! Let’s face it, after the made PP a villain, they could twist any “goodie” into a “baddie.”

https://oncepodcast.com/forums/topic/glinda-the-wicked-witch-of-oz/ Glinda is totally the wicked witch of Oz. I can see her being the BF. Look at those dresses >>

Because perhaps later on, maybe in Oz, Henry is the only one who can defeat the Blue Fairy and she needs to find a way to very indirectly get rid of him?
Love it! Would be a cool twist, and it’d lead us into Oz storyline in the near future quite nicely. Blue may not even necessarily be controlling the Shadow though, they could just be buddies working together. Maybe she’s the light and Shadow is the dark and they’re just two halves of a whole.

Anything that can explain the excessively adorned jellyfish dress is a worthwhile theory in my book. 😛

We know that The shadow is a realm jumper and we know that Peter Pan has jumped back to the enchanted forest before. Could he do that just by imagining it? (Probably not without the heart of the truest believer). Maybe The shadow has been corrupted and changed just like the rest of Neverland under Pan’s control.

I’m not so sure. THE shadow and Malcolm had an entire conversation in which THE shadow told Malcolm that it was the only inhabitant of NL and Malcolm had no idea what that shadow was. It seems like THE shadow was in NL long before Malcolm and Rumple ever got there.

I do not remember the shadow telling Mal to do anything but it did take Rumple away, so did do as Mal believed. Perhaps it did tempt him offscreen, but then the way it said mal broke a rule makes me think it is a supernatural creature that always existed, a embodiment of an idea like the greek myth gods. The sandman, or a guardian of dreams.
So there is that Andersen story about a shadow that takes over, so could be what happened.

Hmmmm….so the Shadow was originally its own entity but somehow became part of Peter Pan. Sounds to me like Malcolm is possessed.

So THE shadow replaced Malcolm’s shadow? So then the shadow in the Coconut is both THE shadow and PP’s shadow.
