It certainly does look like Granny’s. When Cyrus falls into whatever he falls into, it’s got that same orangey colour that’s in the whatever that’s blowing a hole in Granny’s floor.

I haven’t read the Alice in Wonderland books. Was Cyrus the genie in them or is he a new, original character?
Off the top of my head, I wanna say that he’s totally original. Don’t think there were any genies in the Alice books.

They do look eerily alike, the actress for Grace and Alice. As Alice would say, curioser and curioser.
I don’t think the characters are going to be related though, not given what they have said about the timeline that it is after magic came to SB.
Also, it appears that Cyrus is Alice’s true love, which means she can’t have Jefferson too.

Interesting thought- if the new show coincides with season two, then Alice herself is not from our world.

Especially given this development

I can’t wait to see why granny’s dinner is in there since we know its not reused footage, unless in a deleted scene.
But thinking of Grace’s mom I do think she is from Wonderland b/c Jefferson clearly been there since he told Regina he hated it.
Also in Hat Trick Jefferson said her mom was lost or gone, but I believe he never said dead. So I don’t think she is dead but is the Red Queen which is now my official pet theory for Wonderland.
Another thing is if this show takes place post curse, is Alice in Henry’s book? probably not, if there is anything saying Alice is in Henrys book we got timeline issues on our handsKeeper of Swanfire's dream catcher, the Blue Fairy Plot Device, the contact name "Her", the lanyards, the trigger, the Netherworld room and necklace, Charming's quote on Thanksgiving, and PP's pic of Henry

It’s called “There’s That Rabbit” and I can’t seem to find just that clip anywhere. It’s in the opening of the movie though if anybody wants to see what I’m talking about. (Does anybody remember that movie besides me?) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=juXYDabYmec (The song I’m thinking of starts about a minute in, just found this on youtube but can’t find just that song but it’s definitely what I’m thinking of with all the bunny talk).
As for the issues with the t-word and Henry’s book: I believe we saw a picture of Jefferson in the book, but not Alice. The picture Henry was looking at in that episode was actually a picture of little Snow from the episode after that so we haven’t seen Alice I don’t think.

Yes, we’ve only ever seen Jefferson in the book. Until OUATinWL we’ve never actually seen or heard any of Alice, she’s always existed in our heads but not in the Onceiverse.

I believe it was in the pilot we saw a picture of Alice and the hookah-smoking caterpillar as the pages of Henry’s book quickly fluttered in the breeze.
Here is a closer look at the same image found in Henry’s book, only in B&W:
ETA: So, it’s possible the events of Alice being in Wonderland happened before or even during the curse. Yet, we don’t see the White Rabbit and Alice burrow into SB until after the curse has already been broken (probably they’re escaping from the asylum where Alice was imprisoned). Alice may have been cooped up in that padded cell for quite some time. Despite her youthful appearance, we don’t yet know how time runs in Victorian England or in Wonderland.

I think u may be right slurpeez in saying that like NL that wonderlands timeline doesn’t run parallel to this world or the Enchanted Forest, we might actually get proof of this. We just have to wait and see
Also if this is indeed Victorian England which the asluym is in, than I’m wondering if there is speical about England or if their are portals there which allows for charcters to travel between worlds so quickly. Rumple said in the finale that he needed the curse to take him to this land, but both the Shadow and the Rabbit travel between the two worlds rather quickly. Also know that the Shadow nor the rabbit used the magic beans, and Jefferson said that his hat only portals between lands w magic. I think that maybe England has some connections to the other lands, like shortcuts, which allows people to travel from England so easily, and these connections are only in NL and in Wonderland (maybe there is one to Dr. Whale’s land somewhere in our world maybe Russia which explains why Whale had a different accent than Rumple, maybe one in China which Mulan fell through???) this would explain how these two did something that took the Dark One over three hundred years to do
