I do wonder if maybe the burning passion we all had for Once is maybe starting to die down as we become more and more dissatisfied with the show in its current state
It’s that but it’s also that there’s little to no point in coming up with clever theories when what ends up happening on screen is almost never what you theorized because you didn’t account for magical MacGuffins and other random plot devices and sudden random prophecies, ect.
There must’ve been a reason why they included Will on the show.
I strongly suspect there was a reason but the plans for Will were dropped like the proverbial hot potato when the fan reaction (from Rumbellers, yes, but from the WillAna shippers whom A and E never took into consideration) let loose

Not that i think hes really dead. THEORY: Camelot is the Dark Curse of Merlin with its citizens as his prisoners as the people of EF were Regina’s prisoners in SB. Basically: SB=Camelot, Merlin=Regina, perhaps Merida was supposed to be there savior or Lancelot and Cora was tasked with taking him out. Im really out of this theory thing lately >> its been so hard tro formulate proper theories for OUAT.
I do like the idea that Cora had some dealings with Merlin and Camelot. We know Rumple did and she was the Queen of Hearts. Who knows what shenanigans she got into during those years.
The casting call made it seem like Arthur was the bad guy in this story, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Merlin had some shady qualities.
July 22, 2015 at 10:38 am #306463RumplesGirlKeymasterIf Camelot is in a time bubble (like I suggested) then it was more than likely Merlin who did it. And I’ll go ahead and say that anyone who puts an entire realm in stasis probably did so for personal, and probably gray, reasons. For example, Merlin is quite often a prognosticator– the ability to see or tell the future. If he saw the ruin of Camelot someday (perhaps thanks to the return of the Darkness that Merlin banished originally), then I’m betting he put up a bubble to ensure that Camelot would remain as it was forever, with the added bonus that no one could ever find it/see it–including the aforementioned Darkness.

But Rumpel has been to Camelot. And if the graphic novels are canon then so has Jefferson.

July 22, 2015 at 4:08 pm #306472KebParticipantYeah, but I’m also very behind on the timeline. I’m still documenting 4A and have most of Wonderland to sort through. It’s a Someday thing, but I think I will add it eventually.

Actually, I feel like they wanted Emma Rigby to appear in the 2nd half of the Season, but they ran into a scheduling conflict, so they put on hold their original plans for Will. The ScarletBeauty thing could have just been plan b, when they needed to figure out something else for Will to do in the meantime.

Yes but would Adam and Eddy care if they break canon?
Comparatively, not a lot of people read the graphic novel as compared to watching the show. If they can dance around it, then they will.

Rumple being in Camelot was mentioned in an actual episode, “Heroes and Villains.” That’s where he got the gauntlet.
