    Once Upon a Time (ABC)
Airs: Sunday, May 10 at 8/7c

Can The Author grant the villains a happy ending? That question will be answered in what co-creator Edward Kitsis calls a “two-hour concept episode” that will include pretty much everybody in Storybrooke. Also, Emma and Hook’s relationship will be explored further, and it will become clear where Regina and Robin Hood stand. But where is our horned friend Maleficent in all this? Hoping for a reunion with her long-lost daughter Lily, who will make an appearance as well. By the end of the two hours, one person will be gone forever (as much as they can be on this show), and everyone will be left this season with a big “change in condition” that will carry over into next season.

Also, Emma and Hook’s relationship will be explored further,

True Love’s Kiss not happening this season but season five, as I thought. (5A, maybe?) Hell, maybe even the last season of the series.

and it will become clear where Regina and Robin Hood stand.

These guys will get a tlk though, which makes sense because this half is Regina’s arc.

By the end of the two hours, one person will be gone forever (as much as they can be on this show),

    Emma

and everyone will be left this season with a big “change in condition” that will carry over into next season.

This is so vague, I have no idea how to interpret this.

Without the parenthetical insert, it’s Rumple. With the parenthetical insert it’s most likely Emma. Though the way the parenthesis is worded is…strange.

What if Emma becomes the dark one and TLK is what cures her of that? I think if a TLK is going to happen it would be during 5B because if Emma is the dark one then surely the writers would want to explore that?

and it will become clear where Regina and Robin Hood stand.

At least the OQ drama will be resolved hopefully once and for all. TLK for these two is too soon though.

    Emma

I think she becomes the new dark one. Hopefully Rumple lives, possibly becoming powerless, which is something they should explore in season 5.

and everyone will be left this season with a big “change in condition” that will carry over into next season.

This is so vague, I have no idea how to interpret this.

Perhaps because everyone got to see things from the others perspective, ie heroes became villains and villains became heroes, the lines between the two are now blurred? plus a saviourless Storybrooke?

I don’t think Emma will really die then, but just be transported to another realm. Rumple, I think will definitely die though.

Where will Emma go? Which realm? That could be anywhere.

But I think it would be interesting if she goes to Camelot.  Come on Adam and Eddy, gives up King Arthur, Merlin and the whole gang already!

At least the OQ drama will be resolved hopefully once and for all. TLK for these two is too soon though.

I definitely agree there. We already know they are destined for each other–a TLK kiss for them even sounds redundant. But it is Regina’s arc, so, she gets another TLK.

What happens to Emma in the finale though will carry through into 5A, which will be her arc.

No I doubt they’ll carry out Dark! Emma that long. They break their stories into 11’s these days. Dark! Emma would only be for 5A (possibly along side Jafar and the Aladdin mythos) with the resolution in 511.

I don’t think Emma will really die then, but just be transported to another realm. Rumple, I think will definitely die though

If they’re going to play out the Savior trope to its full extent then she needs to metaphorically die even if she’s only transported–I’d say to some sort of underworld. Hades, the Vault of Eternal Goo, something that is clearly “other” in terms of separating life and death.

I mean, even Lana and Sean say in interviews, it’s true love, it’s true love. Not only is a TLK redundant, it’s also anti-climatic because we know we’re already heading in that direction anyway.

Hmmmm……Flash Sideways, another reality, like in LOST?

I am sure the character who disappears forever is Rumpel. The part about “as much as they can be on this show” means we will still frequently see him in flashbacks.

and everyone will be left this season with a big “change in condition” that will carry over into next season

See now, if I didn’t know any better I would have said the change in condition would have been that now all the heroes are villains and the villains are heroes. But I think by the time the final minute arrives, that will already have been fixed so… Idk.
