The main issue I have with RegalHood is if Tamara is RH’s daughter, then Tamara and Neal’s relationship would take on a squicky factor. Tamara was sleeping with Neal, she was going to marry him and then could have potentially given birth to his child.
For me, there’s no more potential squick factor here than with a relationship like CaptainSwan. You get people arguing the whole, “Hook was with Bae’s mother and was therefore Bae’s step-father, so it’s gross if he gets with Emma, who is the mother of Bae’s child.” But that argument doesn’t hold water because Killian and Milah were never married. Sure, they could have potentially had a kid, because they were sleeping together, just like Neal and Tamara could have potentially had a kid. But neither couple did, and neither couple ever formalised their relationship with marriage, so there’s no “keeping it in the family” squick, even if, if you draw a little family tree, they’re not that far apart. Dunno how well this will show up, (turns out it didn’t format properly in the actual post, GAH, just imagine that if someone is a couple’s child, their name is aligned under their parents’ names), but…
Rumple – Milah – Killian
Tamara – Bae – Emma
…so Killian and Emma totally have branches of the family tree (where non-marriage relationships are included) that run parallel. But that doesn’t mean it’s icky if CS hook up.If we look at the family tree for the other scenario…
Robin – Marian
Regina – Emma – Bae – Tamara
HenryEspecially if we take into consideration that an essential part of the “Tamara is their daughter” theory is that Robin has never really known her because he lost her when she was either a newborn or still unborn, and that he may never meet her if she dies in NL, and the fact that Bae and Tamara weren’t ever actually married, there’s just not enough of a connection there for me to think that RegalHood would be icky.

After seeing VCF’s cute poster of Finding Henry, and thinking of the movie Finding Nemo, I thought about a character suggested on a previous Regina LI thread when people were just brainstorming random characters.
Captain Nemo…..
”
Captain Nemo (in Latin Nobody), also known as Prince Dakkar, is a fictional character invented by the French science fiction author Jules Verne. Nemo appears in two of Verne’s novels, Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea (1870) and The Mysterious Island (1874), and makes a cameo appearance in Verne’s play Journey Through the Impossible (1882).
Nemo, one of the most famous antiheroes in fiction, is a mysterious figure. The son of an Indian Raja, he is a scientific genius who roams the depths of the sea in his submarine, the Nautilus, which was built on a deserted island. Nemo tries to project a stern, controlled confidence, but he is driven by a thirst for vengeance and a hatred of imperialism (particularly the British Empire). He is also wracked by remorse over the deaths of his crew members and even by the deaths of enemy sailors.”
That’s from the wiki description.
Any chance he might “surface” in Neverland? I wonder how many new characters they might add to the story.

Apparently it was mentioned at D23 that they don’t intend to introduce any more new characters in the first 11, apart from the ones already announced. I haven’t been able to track down anything to officially confirm what was said, (this is why we need vid of the panel…angiebelle, do you remember if this was mentioned?), but I remember seeing it mentioned in the chat here, and I’ve also seen it mentioned in a comment on a tumblr post.
August 12, 2013 at 8:00 am #204432RumplesGirlKeymasterI remember that bit of spoiler too. The new characters we know they are introducing for part one: PP and Tink. RH isn’t technically new.

The comment I saw on tumblr said that they’d mentioned no new characters since what was revealed at CC. And they wouldn’t have made a teaser for her if she wasn’t gonna be in the first half of the season.
August 12, 2013 at 10:34 am #204464RumplesGirlKeymasterThat’s true. I do think Ariel will be at least introduced in part one, but I can’t see them getting in too deep (ha, a joke!) with her until part 2, after we’ve left NL.

August 12, 2013 at 11:25 am #204470RumplesGirlKeymasterThey way A and E keep talking, the two halves are like two seasons and Adam has said on Twitter that everyone will be reunited before episode 12 (first episode of part 2)–mainly says this to Rumbelle fans, fyi. They also said at SDCC that the first half is really about NL and that what is going on in SB will tie in later, the second half. I think we’ll see our heroes return to SB by episode 11 (if not 11 itself) and then the focus is SB once more, dealing with the fallout from whatever happens in 1-11.

Trying to be on her very best behavior, Regina/Evil Queen will find a surprising love connection in the third episode — perhaps with Robin Hood (Sean Maguire), who will appear on both Once and its Wonderland spinoff. “Regina’s love has to be very manly, and Robin Hood is that,” Parrilla says. “I’m getting very excited.” (Alas, she shouldn’t get too excited, since producers tell me this romance will take a tragic turn.)
By episode 3, Robin Hood will be in the picture, and I think you can officially do a happy dance, Phee (at least for a brief second). Sad that the word “tragic” has been used with regards to Regina again. Hasn’t the lady suffered enough (okay, granted she brought most of it upon herself, but still)?

Indeed it is. However, they also used the word “soulmate” at D23, when talking about Regina’s romance. So perhaps the tragic turn is only temporary, and twoo wuv will end up saving the day?
