Oh I forgot to add in response to Slurpeez on soulmate, I know the writers did use the word for Cora and Rumple. They have used Kindred spirits for Emma and Neal. I know J.Mo has said kindred spirit with Hook, and maybe A&E have too, would not doubt it but I do not recall it. There is a lot of fan interpretation.
I do think we should not conclude soulmate means end-game based on the use for Corumple.

The term “soulmate” has been used quite a bit to describe Hook and Emma

Good point! While I think heartless Cora was as ruthless as the Dark One, I believe the true soul mate of Rumplestiltskin the humble spinner is and always will be Bell.
I said in chat, but what if Regina did not curse Marian but is the reason she was cursed? We know at one point that Regina met Mally and that they were “friends” for several years. That they traded curses.
What if Regina revealed a crush on Robin to Mally, and Mally wanted to help Regina (in her twisted careful what you wish for way, Marian ends up cursed by Mally who is in the original Sleeping beauty tale, a bad fairy. Someone told RH where to find the wand to cure Marian, what if that was Regina? Also, Regina does not have to be the one to kill Tamara. Who still may not be RH’s daughter, and besides Tam went way off the reservation as she would have killed RH too and kidnapped Regina’s son. I don’t see Tam being RH daughter as a ship killer, only if Regina killed /cursed Marian then kills Tamara too.
Another notion, what if Marian’s curse was Robin’s price for his magic bow–nothing to do with Regina, but she helped him to get a solution (though her aim was to annoy Rumpel)
I’ll assume by Malley you mean Maleficent. This could work, too, and spare Regina the added hurt of nearly murdering or actually murdering Marian. Let’s also hope that Regina doesn’t unwittingly murder RH’s long-lost daughter, Tamara. That would pretty much pour a bucket of water over any potential flame with RH. For Regina’s sake, I hope that isn’t the case. But I do want Tamara to be RH and Marian’s child. I just hate how the writers seem to fixate on putting Regina through the ringers. She may deserve it, but it’s really painful to watch season after season.
No matter how tragic or short-lived any romance will be for Regina, at least she’ll get to have some time with Sean Maguire.

If RegalHood were to happen (still not keen on it) and if Tamara were to be RH’s daughter, what if Regina killed Tamara in Neverland, not bothered by it, then hooks up with RH and is happy, then realises that Tamara was RH’s daughter.
Regina will then face the dilemma of does she tell RH the truth about his daughter and risk having him reject her or does she lie and continue with him knowing that she’s keeping this big secret from him.
In The Crocodile they were hammering home the point about honesty in a relationship.
I think I just talked myself into considering RegalHood as an actual possibility.

That would make for an interesting dilemma.

Really good point. That’s a lesson she needs to learn.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"August 12, 2013 at 3:19 pm #204564PriceofMagicParticipantI can just see it now. Regina doing her sad face, tears streaming down her cheeks, saying “I’m sorry” and RH coldly saying “Don’t bother. Get out!”

So then they get to NL and he is working with Regina and that is where things happen?
I liked Prices suggestion that Regina will have a conflict between killing Tamaara and RH being her father. What if she grants mercy when the connection is revealed and does not kill Tamara. Then Robin does it. After all, we need to see a reason to think them soulmates. (as to why he does it, it’s a justice thing, she kidnapped a boy and activated the failsafe that almost killed the entire town. She may be his biological daughter, but he feels she is no true child of his).“If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. August 12, 2013 at 10:12 pm #204596runaroundmacyParticipantFrom the last few spoilers (and because of our crazy obession) I’ve been under the impression that perhaps Regina and RH would meet in a flashback. Isn’t 3×03 supposed to be a Regina episode? It would make sense to me if this is how they’re introduced, and maybe we’re allowed to believe that there is a spark there, thus laying a foundation for a romance later. Then they wouldn’t be lying, we would be meeting RH early in the season and so would Regina. Although I will admit that the fact that Lana Parilla is talking so openly about RH in interviews so early, makes me a little doubtful now.
