I never considered myself a true “shipper” of any couple until recently. First, Hookriel and now RegalHood? This is all Phee’s fault. This can only lead to heartache.

So what could it mean that Regina’s new love interest “quickly becomes a part of the show” but not in a way we would expect? The expected way is some attractive stranger just waltzing in and having a “meet cute” with Regina.
The unexpected way would be we hear about a character but don’t meet him, or we meet the character but Regina does not.
That would give RegalHood some steam, if RH is appearing exclusively in SB meanwhile Regina is in NL. So we meet the guy, but Regina doesn’t.

This! And what I find really intriguing is how they are going to tie into eachother. I have a feeling there are gong to be a lot of parallels between the 2 storylines, further linking SB and NL together.

There’s a TV Line new spoiler for Regina’s would-be love interest. It does sound as if this “someone” becomes part of the show in S3 (sounds like someone new).
Please help us, we are all dying here! What else can you say about Regina’s new love interest/”special someone” on Once Upon a Time? –AnaFine, fine. I doubled back with the boys and Horowitz said that this “someone” “becomes a part of the show very quickly” – within the first five episodes – “but in a way that you don’t expect.”

But the RH is “new” strictly speaking. And he wasn’t a big part of Lacey at all, so it’s looking a bit more like RH every passing spoiler.

It’s the only new casting news for a male for the first 5 episodes. Unless there’s a huge secret that we really don’t know about. I highly doubt it’s PP. I can’t think of anybody else it could be.

BWAHAHAHAAA! It may be crack, but it’s comprehensively thought out crack. 😉
I’ve been thinking about this “someone” who quickly becomes part of the show (in the first five episodes). What if this “someone” is a woman rather than a man? What if she is Tinkerbell? I know it sounds far-fetched, given Regina’s preferences for handsome men (just re-watch how she looks at Graham, David, Jefferson, and Hook when first meeting them). Yet, just maybe this “surprise connection” that Tink has with a member of the core cast is with Regina? The writers have said they’re not opposed to same-sex pairings, even though they ruled out SwanQueen. Even if they’re not “romantically linked” could Regina and Tink be sisters? We’ve all been assuming that love interest=lover, but that is just one possibility since there are many different types of love.

Hmmm. I agree that there are many different types of love, but that’s a little too devious even for A and E. On Twitter Adam is constantly reassuring EvilRegals and others that Regina will get a new love interest, which I think means romantic love interest. If it refers to something else, then Adam is going to need to go into hiding.
In some other places, people have brought up Regina maybe being in a same sex pairing. Anything is possible, but again…ADam would need to go into hiding (not that this would stop him from doing what he and Eddy want with their characters) but after the slight blowup of the SQers post SDCC, for Adam’s sake, I’m hoping Regina is not the LGBT character.
The issue thus far with RegalHood is that they’ve never met but Regina’s love interest is supposed to enter into this story pretty quickly, but we know RH is in SB with Belle. Unless Regina’s love interest/love story doesn’t start until she gets back from NL, which makes sense. *rubs head* I don’t know anymore.
