The Neal/Tamara relationship and Tamara being RH daughter still complicate RegalHood.

Keeper of FelixAugust 9, 2013 at 12:27 pm #203887SlurpeezParticipantWhat if Tamara doesn’t even know who her parents are? What if all she knows is that magic is responsible for why she grew up without them—Marian’s death couldn’t be prevented because there was no magic here and RH was taken to SB with the Curse?
I think that’s highly likely.
Move onto after everyone is back in Storybrooke and they relate the tale of what really happened to Robin and how his daughter was manipulated. Regina doesn’t dirty her hands, all the blame is on Peter Pan and Regal Hood can move forward.
I’d actually be okay with that. I actually don’t mind Regina and Robin being an item, provided he’s single and Regina doesn’t kill his daughter. My main concern has been in preserving the Tamara=RH’s daughter scenario (which I’ll hold onto until completely disproven by incontrovertible evidence from the show).

I think the idea of dropping Tamara just because he saw Emma again goes against whatever moral code Neal has. And Emma wasn’t back in his life, not romantically. She was trying (not well) to make it clear that she had moved on. Her walls went up and he didn’t want to hurt anyone because he is a good guy.
Guilt was certainly a part of it. As was his lifelong desire to have someone he felt safe with and could call family. Here’s this girl who loves him, who is even completely understanding and accepting of the messed up reality that is his life story. When’s he gonna find that again? Meanwhile, he’d really rather patch things up with Emma, but she’s got all her walls up, insisting she’s not interested, so as far as he’s being forced to accept, Tamara’s his only option for a shot at love and happiness. And she’d been so very understanding, and had done nothing to warrant being automatically dumped and hurt, so how could he live with himself if he did that to her?

I don’t remember, but did we see the lady kiss RH or just hug? Did he call her Marion?

This. We’ve been fighting for this one for MONTHS.

Maybe Maury Povich needs to do an episode from Storybrooke. “Robin, you ARE the father.” Or they could just do special edition of “Good Morning, Storybrooke”. They’d probably have quite a few people stepping up for paternity tests. We could also break out the lie-detector test and hook the Blue Fairy up to it and see exactly what is going on. 😀

If Tamara is NOT RH’s daughter then RegalHood is okay (even though RegalHood isn’t something I’d necessarily support)
If Tamara IS RH’s daughter then RegalHood is a big No because of the Henry relation.
Blame Henry. He’s the reason Regina can’t be happy.

Keeper of FelixAugust 9, 2013 at 12:36 pm #203895PheeParticipantIf Peter Pan and his crew kill Tamara AND she’s RH’s daughter, I could see Regal Hood still happening. It’s messy, but what about this show is nice and tidy.
I could see Henry and/or some of the Jolly Roger crew witness it and in true villain style (you know villains are compelled to reveal everything before the kill), PP can relate how he groomed Tamara and fed on her fears and hatred. Then BAM! Peter lets the bomb drop that she’s the daughter of Robin Hood and Marian and all her life she fought against something she was born from. And then he kills her.

Seems plausible IMO. The part where PP reveals Tamara’s parentage right before vaporising her is a nice touch!
Neal had asked Tamara to marry him before Emma showed up. If he didn’t really love her at all and only wanted to be a good guy out of guilt then I don’t think he would have allowed himself to tie Tamara down without really loving her when she could be free and find someone who did love her.
As long as she believed that he loved her, as long as he was convincing enough that she wouldn’t be hurt, that might have been good enough for him. Emma was the only one Neal really wanted to be with, but he’d convinced himself that there was no way Emma would ever forgive him. So if he ever wanted to settle down, have that family he’s been craving for some 200-odd years, whoever he did it with would only ever be “good enough”. No one else would ever be Emma. His Tallahassee was officially, completely, out of his reach, but he didn’t want to be alone.

*shakes head in agreement* Yep. This is essentially all the Eddy and Adam have said in various forms of media about Neal and how he’s moved forward with his life.
