Could be a flashback with Greg to set up WWW being captured and now is free, explaining the “you think this is the first time” comment to Regina.
When Home Office fell apart after Pan’s death, who knows if it was a real organization or if was just DB and GOAT. They took down Dragon, so maybe Pan hunted other magical creatures because he just wanted to knock off any potential competitors who might get in the way of his goals, or because he was trying to string GOAT along until they did what he needed.
I’m not sure they’d bring him back though, b/c why bother? So I think it is more likely that the TV guide people brought him up for something the actor is doing unrelated to OUAT.
I don’t know–maybe they’re trying to un Nikki-Paolo Greg at least and fix the shoddy fixing?

That’s possible. But I was always under the impression that they killed GOAT so quickly because of the backlash in S2. They wanted to be rid of those two ASAP, so bringing Greg back now just when the audience (casual one) has forgotten about him doesn’t make sense narrative-wise but also viewership-wise.

Agreed. Also, they’ve said they’re done with NL, and they couldn’t show Greg coming back to life without showing NL. So I really don’t think we’ll be seeing him again.

Disagree. The Witch could just onjure him out of thin air to do her bidding. Or he could just show up and give a line of dialogue to explain his return. We wouldnt have to actually physically see NL to know he is alive again

that is true, she could do some magical hand waving but—eaten. I feel as though that’s the real stopping block here.

And like we’ve said, GOAT got killed off quick smart to get rid of them, so even if he hadn’t been eaten, I still wouldn’t expect to ever see him again.

Like I said before, there’s an easy “oh, snap!” solution for this: someone else got there before Tink and took his body away, possibly cutting small bits and pieces of his body like fingers or earlobes to cover his/her actions.
This is hardly the problem. The problem is why. Why bring him back? What’s the point? They wasted any potential he might’ve had, he’s best left forgotten.

Isn’t that a wee bit gruesome for an 8pm Sunday show run by Disney? Because if you take the WHY (bring back Greg) and put it with the HOW (he was eaten) this spoiler really feels like a giant misdirect.

If you read this spoiler carefully, you’ll notice it doesn’t say that Greg Mendell is the one whose death may be undone. Instead, it just says the answer to where Greg Mendell is these days is related. I take that to mean they’re two different spoilers: someone’s death will be reversed AND we’ll also find out what happened to Greg. If we find out that Rumple, for example, is still alive because of the Shadow being destroyed, then it’d be a natural follow up question to pose “And what about Greg? He had his shadow ripped off so is he alive too?” That doesn’t mean Greg is alive though, since Adam tweeted us that his body had decayed.

I fully agree because bringing back Greg is really irrelevant at this moment in time! We have bigger fish to fry than the ones already eaten. Pun intended.
Even though they said no…I’d prefer Graham over Greg, because Greg irked me to no end last season….and I really can’t see them ever bringing Cora because that would be…I don’t know how I feel about that. But I’m sure Cora would have no problem coming back looking thirty years younger, but then she’d have to answer to two very upset daughters of hers…and that is an issue I think it’d be best if just Regina and WWW solved between themselves with mother’s interference…
Boy, Archie might as well raise his pay because everyone is about to start coming to him…
-And I still think it’s gonna be someone we haven’t seen on Once, but someone everyone knows that he/she’s supposed to be dead….and the Wicked Witch of the East is my top contender!
