Bae had Morraine so at least he had one friend he could talk to when he was feeling down. Henry doesn’t have anybody.
I don’t think Bae had any friends in Neverland otherwise why would he try to escape?
Well it was still Neverland. It’s still dark and twisted and there is a psycho who wants to rip off your shadow and keep you from your family (The Darlings in this case).

More like he bottles them up until he explodes with rage and something either gets destroyed or someone gets a caning.
I think Henry could be manipulated by PP and the Lost Ones. Henry was kidnapped by GOAT and taken to Neverland. PP and the LO could “save” Henry from GOAT with Henry not seeing what becomes of GOAT. Henry’s bound to ask what happened to Neverland because in his stories it’s a happy place. All PP would need to say is “We need your help Henry. Your arrival was foretold in a prophesy that you would come and save Neverland”. Then Henry is putty in PP’s hands. In season 2 Henry said that he was tired of reading about heroes, he wanted to be one. Neverland would be Henry’s chance to be a “hero”. PP would likely tell the LO to be friendly towards Henry so that he is unaware of PP’s true intentions. Devin may be the one who nearly messes up PP’s plan by letting something slip or being nasty to Henry so PP punishes Devin.

Keeper of FelixAugust 28, 2013 at 12:30 pm #207040PriceofMagicParticipantDevin is going to mess things up for PP, probably get his shadow ripped. TLO are going to be the proverbial wolves in sheep clothing. Henry is going to be in such danger and not realise it.

Keeper of FelixAugust 28, 2013 at 3:13 pm #207066kfchimeraParticipantHenry made friends with Ava and Nicholas (Hansel and Gretel) and Paige (Grace) and Pinnochio 2.0 after the curse broke. Yes for a long time Henry had no one. That was not the case when he was kidnapped though (assuming he did ever go to school anymore!).
For Bae, he wished badly to go back to the Darlings, not to Rumple and his friend Morraine. So I think both Henry and Bae will (have) react(ed) the same way–GET ME OUT OF HERE. Henry might be like Wendy, having fun for a few days, then realizing PP is full of it, and it’ll be back to faith that Moms are on the way. Bae never had that faith in anyone. Maybe it is this faith Henry will have that is what turns him into the kind of believer that PP has needed to find for centuries–the one kid who won’t give up on the love of his family.

You expressed that really well. I agree that given Henry’s belief in his family and that good always wins that Henry will be opposed to Peter Pan from pretty early on. As early as 3×1, we have the sneak peek of the dialogue, we know that Henry believes his mothers will save him. That shows his defiance to take the easy option, which is a lot like his dad, Baelfire. Also, Henry has a strong moral compass like Emma, Charming and Snow. So, I doubt Henry is going to see his stay in NL like some sort of summer camp experience.

August 28, 2013 at 3:34 pm #207069RumplesGirlKeymasterI agree with Slurpeez and KFC. Henry knows this isn’t going to be a good time. He still thinks/knows that good will win, but I think he needs to learn the cost of good wining. He needs to learn a little bit more about sacrifice, to see that everything isn’t so clear cut and black/white. This is why part of my season three headcanon is still Rumple stepping and sacrificing himself for Henry (but he only loses his DO power, maybe forever).
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"August 28, 2013 at 5:06 pm #207080HappyEndingsSpectatorI thought the only way to kill Rumble was with the Dagger, unless there is another dagger out there which I doubt then I don’t know how Rumble could lose his power.
I also think that Tamara will try the taser on PP and gets killed trying and either Rumble or Emma will get the taser and either breaks it to release the power to kill PP or will use the laser on PP like Tamara did on August.
If Rumble uses the taser then that is how he may lose his power—Magic always come with at price!!! 🙁

I’ve forgotten half of what I wanted to say. I don’t think Hansel and Gretel were really trying to be Henry’s friends, They were only using him to shoplift. Henry tried to save them because he knew nobody could leave Storybrooke safely other than Emma. I think Grace may fancy Henry but they weren’t friends per se. Pinocchio seems younger than Henry so I don’t class them as friends but playmates with Henry being the older of the two. How old is little Pinocchio’s actor anyway in comparison with Jared Gilmore?

Keeper of FelixAugust 28, 2013 at 6:34 pm #207102RumplesGirlKeymaster@HappyEndings: I remember a TON of speculation around 218 about trying to use that taser on Rumple and what affect it would have. Most of us kinda joked about it, but now I’m starting to re-wonder what that taser really does and how Tamara got it.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"August 28, 2013 at 8:23 pm #207113kfchimeraParticipant@Price: H&G were using Henry at first, but they weren’t later on when it was revealed and they had to hang out in Emma’s apartment. Pino may be younger but doesn’t mean they aren’t friends and not sure of your point with Paige. My point was simply that Henry probably would miss his family as opposed to thinking “Wow I finally have friends. I want to stay forever.”
They might write him that way, but I think it would be out of character unless it is driven by his anger over everyone fighting about magic/custody of him. Then I could see him (like with the dynamite) wanting to stay because it is safer that way.I think he’ll want to escape though.
