HOROWITZ | Yeah, we can for the first time tell you that Ariel is coming back (played by JoAnna Garcia Swisher). You will see her within the first half of 4B. There may be some other returns that we’re not ready to confirm yet, from our past years.

Other returns = Tink
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"I hope we get to see Tink again in 4B. She was my favorite addition from the Neverland arc, more so than Ariel actually. So much more could have been done with Ariel but she was reduced to a plot device. Let’s hope she has a more meaty role for 4B.
I’m thinking that Mulan will be another one too since Jamie said the other week that they were working on her return.
And possibly even Lancelot given all of the Camelot references lately.
I doubt it, especially since Bobby has said that he loves playing Evil!Rumple. If anything, he might’ve threatened a release unless they gave him a darker, more evil arc.
Sure but there’s been scuttle from people who visited set. And yes he loves playing evil, but there’s only so far that can go. Going out in a blaze of evil glory? That’s how you end Rumple…the man Bobby doesn’t think should ever get a HEA

There are rumors that Bobby wasn’t happy that they killed Neal because he wanted more “family” stuff on the show, less mayhem and magic. There have also been some interviews over the summer where Bobby was less Bobby-ish than normal and when asked certain questions his answers would be tantamount to “yeah, I don’t know why [whatever he was asked about] happened either.”
It’s all just scuttlebutt though. I have nothing definitive outside of people who have visited set and reported back
