Question: I’d like to know more about the new season of Once Upon A Time! –Joe
Ausiello: Lost fans just might get a sense of Season 4 deja vu when the Jolly Roger drops anchor in Neverland, and its passengers ultimately face the decision of who to follow. “You’ve got five people on a ship who all think they’re leaders, so we’ll have to see how they react when they face their first obstacle,” series cocreator Eddy Kitsis hints. Adds Adam Horowitz, “Theres certainly some friction, but theres also a shared goal they have to achieve” — finding Henry. “The question is: Will they achieve it together, separately or at all?”

I think they will split the group to cover the ground faster. You can’t trust Rumble or Regina but Regina and Hook have been there before so what teams would be the best. I think Snow, David, and Regina vs Hook, Rumble and Emma. Plus you would have the people who have magic on each team. You can’t count on Hook either he fish tails back and forth to what ever side is winning so….. 😉

I definitly think Rumple is going to go off on his own, no matter what the others say. Regina may stick with the pack because they are united in a common goal, but she will have a different way of looking at things.

I think David will be the leader to decide who is going with who, Rumble I don’t think he cares one way or the other he was kind of a loner before and he might be again.

Rumple and Hook can’t be trusted to be alone together, nevermind working together, whoever is on their team would be spending the majority of time trying to stop them killing each other rather than looking for Henry.

Maybe they’d have Snow, Emma and Regina on one team with Rumple, Charming and Hook on the other since Charming would have the physical strength to separate Hook and Rumple.

RC has made it clear in all the interviews he’s given since SDCC that Rumple is sort of on his own mission wise. He is on a suicide mission and isn’t interested in playing nice with the others. I fully expect him to go off on his own. That leaves Regina, Charming, Snow, Emma, and Hook. One team of two, one team of three? Or will they all stay together and fight a lot?

I don’t expect Rumpel to be on a team at all. I think he’ll don his leather pants and split.  From the group, not the pants :).

As for the others, it is unclear–no matter what way they split that group there is development for all the characters.

I agree; if you look at some of the possible combos:

1A) Regina, Snow, Charming. Goodness knows those three have some issues to work out
2A) Emma and Hook. We know CaptainSwan is going to be teased

1B) Hook and Regina. Possible love connection
2B) Emma, Charming and Snow. Family time. Charming hasn’t gotten to see Emma as warrior yet.

1C) Charming, Snow and Hook. The Charmings need to get to know Hook if he is going to be a contender for Emma.
2C) Regina and Emma. Two mothers looking for Henry with some bad blood between them.

I don’t think the Charmings would leave Hook and Regina on a team by themselves, that would be pure idiocy.

What I would see happening is the five of them originally start out as one team but then the lost ones capture three of them, forcing the other two to work together to retrieve the other three, or two get captured and three have to rescue them.

What’s the odds that Snow or Charming get captured so that they have to find each other again.

Hmm..in Peter Pan, the Darling group slits up.  Wendy and Peter go to see the mermaids and Michael, John and the Lost Boys go to fight the Indians.  They eventually meet back up when Peter rescues Tiger Lily and returns her to the Indian encampment were the other group has been held captive.

I could see them doing something similar.  Two groups.  One group is captures and the other comes upon them.  Meanwhile, who knows what Rumple’s going to do.  He’s like a wildcard, a loose canon.  We just have no idea what Rumple on a suicide mission and willing to go to any length to save his grandson will look like.  After the lengths he went to  be reunited with Bae, God help the people who have his grandson captive.
