Question: Will we get to see Once Upon a Time‘s “Rumbelle” as a married couple, seeing them in their home instead if the shop all the time? Will they have a honeymoon, eventually? Will we see some happy times? –Intarr
Ausiello: Funny you should bust out the H-word. Because in previewing Season 4 — where Rumple will continue to conceal the secret about the true dagger, as well as revisit whatever complicated history he has with that ice queen, Elsa — series cocreator Adam Horowitz said, “There is a list of things that are brewing for Belle and Rumple to deal with, but before they do, let’s let them enjoy their honeymoon.” (Surely he was speaking figuratively, so calm down, everyone.)

Hope they don’t try to drag out the honeymoon phase too long. I couldn’t enjoy the wedding because LIES and I won’t enjoy seeing them happily married because LIES and that sucks because ever since Skin Deep I’ve just wanted Rumbelle to be married and happy. The longer they keep it up that Belle doesn’t know, it’s gonna make her look dumb (which she isn’t!) and it’s gonna increase my disappointment in Rumple (who I have always adored). The truth needs to come out ASAP, Belle needs to be angry as hell, throw the ring and Dagger of LIES at him and leave, and they need to address the emotional upheaval and resolution of it all in a believable way. If they just brush over it all, then I may be the one throwing things.

What Phee said. A year ago, if you had told me that Rumbelle would be having a honeymoon, I’d be the happiest person ever. I’d be running through these forums dancing a dance of joy. And now–tainted. So tainted. The wedding, the honeymoon, whatever happiness they have until Belle learns the truth–tainted.

Rumple will definitely not be an easy man to love but Belle’s strength is her capacity TO love…and forgive. Great “opposites attract” balance but also great potential for some drama.

Perhaps the support Rumple might need in avoiding the (very) cold shoulder from the Ice Queen will bring out the fierceness in Belle. She is overdo for some decent story lines.

It will be  an interesting first year for the Newlyweds! (But I am glad there is still some darkness in the Dark One.)
