I’m currently siding with the failsafe having been Regina’s doing, just because it seems that she’s the one who brought over Maleficent, trapped her as a dragon underground, (Rumple said he knew she wouldn’t be able to resist it, suggesting that wasn’t his doing), and made her guard something that was being kept in Snow White’s coffin. If Rumple had a failsafe, he wouldn’t hide it in that way.

I could see Rumple nudging Regina to trigger the fail-safe though, by making her believe it would kill everyone. Yet all the while, it would simply transport everyone home again. If so, then Rumple may have given the ruby to Regina for safekeeping, and she chose to hide it in Snow’s coffin.

That’s a big possibility. Rumple would want to return home with Bae once they were reunited. I don’t think he would want to stay in this world. Wouldn’t be the first time (or the last time) Rumple’s manipulated Regina into doing exactly what he wants her to do.

I’m also not sure what to think about the idea of the show leaving Storybrooke altogether. The fairytale characters in our world scenario is a big part of what drew me to the show in the first place. I love fish out of water stories.

Keep the faith! *this has become my new mantra, I swear*
I do like the “fish out of water” stories of ONCE but think about it this way: Snow White in Neverland is just as out of water as SW in our world. Whole new exploration.

I love seeing our world from the prospective of an outsider- they have had so few of those moments…just little things like Aurora questioning Emma’s coat or Belle wanting to taste a hamburger for the first time. I want more of that! I want the characters talking about how strange it is for them that their stories are part of our world’s culture. They seem to just accept that in stride rather than react to it. Would love to see them reference the Disney films!
As for Belle, yes, I’m trying to stay positive. It does sound like she will remember- I just wish there wasn’t so much going on that she keeps getting pushed to the side, and her storyline gets shortchanged. They could do so much more with her. I want her to blossom as a fully integrated character. Right now, the other characters see her only as Rumple’s girlfriend, and while I love RumBelle, that makes me a little sad. Fingers crossed that Emilie is still a series regular next season!

That scene (and it’s more than a moment based on what Emilie said; Bobby might be specifically referring to one thing, the TLK, lol) is going to be a huge deal…..it’s not going to be a 5 second scene. I think Bobby means that they don’t get to really linger and enjoy each other because of what’s going down… As long as they are together, I’m happy (and I LOVE that Gold is all about restoring Belle).
Angie, I agree about Belle – it’s been a very frustrating year. I will give the show one more crack to get her right. I’m very sorry that she never got to open the library…….that’s sad, and if SB is no more, she won’t get too. Still, I think she will prove to be a huge asset in Neverland – I’m hoping she and Gold will go on a quest to find Bae, like they couldn’t do together in the Outsider. She’s such a strong, brave, unique character that it’s surprising that her creators failed to take advantage of that this year

If that is the case where is Sidney Glass, I see his room in the basement but where was he taken from there after confessing to setting up MM? ❓
