This does seem to confirm that, like many have been speculating for awhile, Rapunzel is Wish!Hook’s daughter. The real question is who is Rapunzel *now* (Eloise Gardener, Tremaine, The Witch), who’s the mother, and what happened?
Seeing how young Wish Hook is, it could be a flashback. He and Rapunzel are about the same age, so it looks like Rapunzel could be his baby mama and not his baby.
Yup, I totally think it’s Baby Mama post synopsis/more pictures. And I think she’s Tremaine.

It could always be Ivy that is his daughter. Though, why doesn’t Hook know what his daughter looks like? Or what the person he is looking for looks like? There has to be a reason they haven’t shown us what the girl looks like.
If it is Ivy though and they are going to “redeem” her and she is possibly going to be in a relationship with Alice, that is all something. Ivy is the character that looks the most like Hook.

Meegan Warner, the actress who playes Rapunzel 2.0, is 26, about 10 years yonger than Colin is. I think a decade is still an acceptable age difference for a romance to happen between Rapunzel and Wish Hook since they’re clearly both adults; it was common in the Middle Ages for men to marry women who were more than 10 years their junior. After all, Belle and Rumple had more than a 20-year age gap! Rapunzel looks way too close in age to Wish Hook to be his kid, so she must be the mother of his daughter. Plus, this is so obviously fan service because for some reason the writers think that we’re all Hook fans who want to see him be Flynn Rider. *eye roll*

I agree with @Rumplesgirl. I think that Anastasia is going to be Wish Hook’s missing daughter. We haven’t seen what she looks like yet. Anastasia is probably the same missing person “Eloise Gardner” whom Rogers is searching for in HH. That is probably the “mystery” that Adam was hinting at in the article. “Hints executive producer Adam Horowitz, ‘A mystery begins to unravel as soon as Hook climbs her iconic tower.’”
Sounds like Hook’s storyline will end up tying into the main storyline of the show then. I know a lot of people have been feeling like it’s disjointed at the moment, but if his daughter ends up going after the Witch who is helping the person who cast the Curse, then it’s all gonna tie together eventually.
Agreed, I think that Hook’s storyline is going to be clearly tied the the central plot because Lady Tremaine is Rapunzel with whom Wish Hook had a child (aka Eloise/Anastasia). It’s just taking too long to get there.

November 15, 2017 at 11:53 pm #344592PheeParticipantHook is ageless though, because Neverland. So I still think that the visual age difference between him and Rapunzel is meant to be just enough to suggest that they’re father and daughter.
What I’m thinking is that on one of his jobs for Pan, where Hook left Neverland for a few days, he hooked up with a random, then he buggered off back to Neverland and never knew that he got someone pregnant. Said pregnant lady finds herself poor and alone and very pregnant, so makes a deal with a powerful witch (Gothel in the bad wig) to be able to get some stability in her life, but the payment for the deal is the witch gets the baby. And that’s how Rapunzel ends up in her tower. *many years later* Hook is back in NewEF for a little bit on another vacation from Neverland, and he hears about some witch with crazy magic, which leads him to the tower, and then Rapunzel is all, “OMG I was told that my dad was a pirate with a Hook for a hand!”
Part of me wants to say that Rapunzel = Anastasia = Tremaine and Hook’s kid, I just dunno if it’d really work considering some of the tid-bits we know about Anastasia so far. Because they said she “died” when she was 14, didn’t they? And Rapunzel is definitely older than that. And it also seems like Drizella actually knew her sister, which couldn’t have happened if her sister was Rapunzel in the tower.
I mean, I could believe a story where the lady that Hook hooked up with was a young, poor Tremaine, who made a deal with Gothel for wealth, had to give up her baby, who became Rapunzel, but then the tower’s destruction “killed” her, and once Tremaine had custody of her back, she re-named her Anastasia, because that’s what she’d always wanted to name her, but Gothel had named her Rapunzel instead when she took her as a newborn. BUT I just don’t think that would fit with the stuff we know about Anastasia, so I’m not really thinking that’s actually the case.
And I just don’t really see Rapunzel = Tremaine = Hook’s baby mama, because I don’t think it fits with what we know about him sneaking into his daughter’s prison to play chess with her and having her piece be the tower. That doesn’t fit if Rapunzel was his lover instead of his daughter.

What about Lady Tremaine’s cursed alias Victoria Belfry? I think that points to her being Rapunzel and having been locked in a tower. Also, the description of Rapunzel is that she seeks revenge, probably on Mother Gothel. We’ve seen that Victoria locked up the witch with the bad wig in her tower, which sounds a lot like revenge. I think that if Lady Tremaine is Rapunzel, then she will have a lot in common with Wish Hook, who according to the synopsis for 7×7, is seeking powerful magic to get revenge on Wish Rumple. I think all signs point to Victoria Belfry = Rapunzel. What her exact relationship with Wish Hook is based on the synopsis and photos of young Rapunzel and Wish Hook is the only question left on my mind. I suppose that Rapunzel/Victoria still could be Wish Hook’s daughter, especially since as you observed, Wish Hook was ageless due to being in Neverland, to which he could have easily sailed on multiple voyages going between the realms. It still seems like an odd choice due to how close in age Wish Hook/Rapunzel seem in the photos, but as you also observe, Wish Hook would sneak into a tower to play chess with his daughter. It fits too well to be overlooked.
Another possible scenario could be that Victoria is Rapunzel and lover of Wish Hook. They had a fling, he left, and nine months later, Anastasia was born out of wedlock. Being an unmarried woman, Rapunzel regretfully let Gothel, the only mother she ever knew, raise her baby in the tower, but she swore to herself to rescue her child and get revenge one day. So Mother Gothel raised, not only one, but two generations of young girls in that tower: Rapunzel and Anastasia. Years later, Wish Hook returned from one of his trips thinking he would find Rapunzel still locked in the tower, but when he got to the top, he was shocked and amazed to find Anastasia, his very own daughter. Never having expected to be a father, Wish Hook became softened and changed due to his paternal love for young Ana. Whenever he would return from one of his sea voyages, he would secretly climb the tower to play chess with his daughter until one day she was gone. Presumably Rapunzel married up, became Lady Tremaine, came to gather her daughter and get revenge on Gothel. Lady Tremaine destroyed that blasted tower, seeing how it is now in ruin, imprisoned Gothel, and took Anastasia to live with her, Drizella, and Cinderella until Ella accidentally somehow caused the “death” of Ana at the age of 14. That is why Wish Hook was seeking her but unable to find her again in EF 2.0.

November 16, 2017 at 12:26 pm #344595hjbauParticipantI do really think that Victoria just has to be Rapunzel. I think the idea of both Rapunzel and Hook’s child, Victoria’s child, being in the tower, makes a lot of sense. I do wonder what that means for Drizella. Was she also raised by Gothel? Nothing about their interactions so far would suggest that. There seems to be no mother/daughter relationship there, abusive or not. We know that Anastasia is the favored child of Victoria. If Anastasia was raised in the tower by Gothel, is that one of the ways in which Gothel is manipulating Drizella, by suggesting that Gothel’s teaching was something that Victoria only gave to Anastasia even when it was not actually teaching, more like kidnapping. Possibly even, Victoria trading her first born child for her freedom. Though, once again, nothing about the way Gothel and Drizella have interacted so far suggests that they are teacher/student either.
There is definitely some complications of human interaction that could be interesting here about why the characters are doing what they are doing, but i just don’t know how much the writers are considering anything about how people actually behave, so who knows. I do think that Victoria is Rapunzel though, and that one of her children, most likely Anastasia, but possibly Drizella, are Hook’s child, though not both of them. I think that Drizella and Ella are somehow responsible for what happened to Anastasia, and that Gothel is playing Drizella, possibly because of whatever went down that destroyed the tower.

This is Wish!Hook though. Did he ever go to Neverland? Because he was quite old when we first saw him prior.

WishHook said that he and OriginalHook’s stories were the same up until Regina casting/not casting the Curse. So yes, he still did Neverland.
