Pretty pretty please, something about Once Upon a Time? Particularly about Rumbelle? —Valeria
As relayed by yours truly in this week’s Facebook Live edition of “Ask Ausiello,” Once co-creator Adam Horowitz had this to say about the piece I did juxtaposing Disney’s Beauty and the Beast trailer with the sad, sad state of their Storybrooke iterations: “The audience doesn’t know where we’re headed with Belle and Rumple, but no matter how dark things get, the show doesn’t go bleak. It’s still about hope, and it’s always darkest before the dawn.” If you are now thinking, as I am, “Gee, ‘dawn’ then must be right around the corner,” I am hearing the next episode, airing Nov. 27, is in fact quite a game changer for Rumple and/or Belle.

I really hope that there is no more chances for Rumple after this, unless he finds a way to get rid of the DO curse on him without killing himself. I wonder if the shears of destiny can do that? Other than that, RumBelle should not be together again, nor should he be allowed to to go near either Belle or the baby.

Makes me wonder if Rumple does once again lose his Dark One powers, but it transfers into their son, making him the Dark One. That could explain why their son ends up in a cloak. Either way, I’m puzzled on how they could logically repair Rumbelle’s relationship at this point.

Hmm yes.  So we know if someone strikes him with the dagger, Rumple will lose his DO one powers to whoever stabbed him.  But perhaps this another way Rumple can lose his power.  When the DO has a child, once that child is born the DO’s powers get transferred to the child.  Or they both are DO’s.

The only way to repair RB is in a way separate them forever that is Rumple dying for belle and the new kid, that would make belle and the kid remember him as hero but at same time would end RB, and at this point i wonder if the Tv line prediction was really something they knew and is not a prediction at all.

    So, here’s my hail-mary theory:

Hyde made Rumple take the serum when he was under control of the dagger, and we’ve been seeing the duplicate running around being all terrible and macking on the Evil Queen.  The other half of rumple is locked away somewhere (maybe with his old haircut to easier differentiate the two) and this will be dramatically revealed that Evil Rumple is the ‘changeling.’

This happened on Days of Our Lives.  Multiple times.  With the same character.  Which I think makes it even more plausible that we would see it here.

Also, this could explain Rumple wanting the shears – maybe to sever the connection between the doppelgängers?
