Is Dorothy Gale trading in her gingham dress for a warrior’s wardrobe?
TVLine has learned exclusively that ABC’s Once Upon a Time is plotting to revisit the plucky lass, who previously was seen in the Season 3 episode “Kansas” (then played by Matreya Scarrwener, now age 17 and co-starring on UP’s Ties That Bind).

[adrotate group="5"]December 8, 2015 at 3:10 pm #313946MatthewPaulModeratorThis is the weirdest news yet, but now we know why they sent Zelena back to Oz. They actually plan to show us.
December 8, 2015 at 3:11 pm #313947thedarkonedearieParticipantInteresting….guess Zelena will be more important in this back half than I thought.
December 8, 2015 at 3:21 pm #313948RainbowParticipantSo they are copying Emerald city(NBC) storyline.

They already did Buffy twice, doing it a third time would seem suspicious, they need to get ideas from somewhere else.

December 8, 2015 at 4:24 pm #313961MatthewPaulModeratorAlso guessing that Dorothy is from a Fictional Kansas similar to how Alice is from Fictional Victorian England, which was what I assumed the first time. The way she dressed looked like she was from a version of Kansas set further back in the past.

December 8, 2015 at 4:33 pm #313964WickedRegalParticipantLet me guess this….
Zelena: You will see me again!
Regina: Somewhere over the rainbow! Enjoy Oz, witch!
I think this was foreshadowing now based on this new spoiler….while in the Underworld Cora will encourage Regina to make amends with her sister, and to find some sort of peace between them. Unfortunately, Dorothy has returned to Oz as what I presume to be a Wicked Witch Hunter, who as we know had a run in with Zelena not too long ago, and Zelena is basically the most wicked witch in Oz.
So Regina basically banished Zelena away to Oz, not knowing she was basically sending her to what could be a real death at the hands of Dorothy Gale, whose going to be on the hunt for Zelena, much like the original Wizard of Oz story. After hearing Cora out, Regina decides to give her sister a chance to get it right, but learns of her being on the run from Dorothy, which will force Regina to somehow go to Oz in order to help her sister escape the clutches of death, which may truly begin a truce/sisterhood between the sisters as Zelena will see the lengths Regina goes through to protect/save her from Dorothy.
In other words, Regina is going to have to go over the rainbow to save the sister she banished, and this will be the true starting moment of WickedSisters, as they must find a way to work together in order to escape/defeat Dorothy Gale, Witch Hunter.

December 8, 2015 at 6:16 pm #313984PriceofMagicParticipantPerhaps Dorothy will be part of the LGBT storyline with Mulan? Although that could be somewhat eyebrow raising for several reasons. 1. Dorothy is a derogatory nickname for a gay man. 2. Judy Garland who played Dorothy in the 1939 movie became a gay icon. 3. The gay pride logo is a rainbow and Dorothy is “over the rainbow”.
It would seem a bit too on the nose but then again subtlety is not A&E’s strong point.
All magic comes with a price!
