Ten/twelve years of motherhood can age a woman quickly. (Though my mother sometimes looks younger to me now than she did when I was a kid…maybe because her stresses are less?)
There are also a lot of makeup things they can do to help out. Not that Barbara looks old at all, by any standard.

We see Regina grow up with Cora and Zelena with her father and they don’t necessarily meet? It just gives us background on what shaped them to become the people they became and sheds light on some current present day stuff that happens in Storybrooke or the UW…just a thought. It would be better if they never had met before honestly.

That’s what I’m hoping for, but knowing the writers, they may not be able to resist doing a “what if they actually met as kids this entire time” twist.

Uhh I really hope not. The only way I’m ok with that is if they were young and they do meet, but they don’t know who they are. Regina just remembers meeting a girl from OZ and vice versa. If I see a memory wipe from Cora, I will not be pleased.

I mean we just had a flashback of Hook reuniting with his father during the same time as the flashback from “Queen of Hearts”, even though it was very messy fitting those two flashbacks together. They even went through the trouble of having Brennan go under a sleeping curse in order to still be alive at that point. The writers have no problem coming up with contrived flashbacks, if they suit whatever the current story is, regardless if it feels contradictory to the show’s previously established mythology or not.

I’m hoping they learned from their mistakes. Bc that was awful.

A and E can’t resist the idea that Regina and Zelena met once and had Cora interfere. It’s too juicy for them.

I can’t take any more mind changes, memory erasures, none of that. And HOW? Could they have met anyway? Zelena was in Oz.

Please this. If they decide to kill off Zelena, this could work great as a final episode to show that she just never got the same experience as Regina. Or, that their experiences weren’t actually quite different, even though Zelena believes she got jipped.

Zelena is coming to terms with her magic so maybe she has a little “Let it go” moment and accidently conjures a magic tornado that brings Regina to Oz. If they really wanna keep with tradition, they’d have Regina somehow accidently kill a Wicked Witch of the East, and let Zelena be the one to try and help her new friend get out of Oz. Of course Cora comes along and wipes away memory.
Like @RumplesGirl said…this is too golden of an opportunity for Adam and Eddy to pass up. If they could squeeze Hook reuniting with his father in those split seconds between 2×09 and 5×11, I don’t put anything past them.
Not to mention, this would be the quickest route for Zelena and Regina to cast aside their differences, and make amends. Especially if Dorothy is on her way to kill Zelena, it’d be nice to see these sisters work together to survive a threat, thus bringing their relationship closer.
