The Lion King makes the most sense even if the casting calls don’t line up with the characters in the movie. I dunno though…it wouldn’t surprise me if we’re all wrong.

What about Brothers Grimm? if Matt posted those names, means those are not the ones, he is just playing with the fans, but i tell u this, if they know S6 is the last season, nothing makes more sense than bring the Brothers grimm.

Good thinking @MP! I completely forgot about King Richard & Prince John….so it’s definetly either Mufasa and Scar or King Richard & Prince John. Those are really the only two big duo brother stories besides Zeus and Hades.
And I guess it works….5B being Good Big Brother/Bad Little Brother and 6A being Bad Big Brother/Good Little Brother. Since all these sibling arcs are coming together, we’ve already done Bad Big Sister/Good Little Sister with Zelena and Regina, I’m willing to bet that 6B will be Good Big Sister/Bad Little Sister with Blue Fairy & Black Fairy.

I definetly could see Brothers Grimm being last big bads, probably working to resurrect or free the Black Fairy, who could be considered the original darkness, even before the Dark Ones, thus being the absolute worst of the worst.

Or they can end the show, saying the show never existed was all a story from Brothers Grimm and then showing Hnery reading that book somewhere, LOL.
But these descriptions reminds me of the movie. And they are connected to snow white, little red ridding hood, Rumple, sleeping beauty and Hansel and Gretel, Cinderella, Ranpuzel and other stories. So would fit them on the last season.

If this show touches The Lion King, my all-time favorite movie, then I would seriously consider not watching. I don’t care if it’s the “ultimate final season of true love and happy endings,” because if the writers are forced to adapt a movie that is filled with talking animals just to fill up some story, then they have clearly lost all hope of creativity.
Now, if they did the Brothers Grimm, that would be interesting. I just hope they tie it somehow/way/form into August.

The brothers Grimm has far more potential, IMO. I don’t know how you top Hades/Underworld/Saving people from Limbo-esque-place but it’s certainly not with characters adapted from talking animals. Now, doing the Brothers Grimm and having the story be about how and why the stories we all know are different than the OUAT verse would be interesting and a good way to tie things up.
