I’m going to make a prediction:
Snow receives a magical music box as one of her wedding presents, and that’s what causes people to randomly sing. The music box resurfaces in Storybrooke, causing it to happen again. Because of course the source of the singing would be a magical object of the week!
Wait, so not only did Snow and Charming meet Captain Hook in past EF, but Snow was pregnant with Emma at the time?! What the heck?! And why didn’t Snow recognize Hook when he lied about being a blacksmith in S2? Let me guess: memory potion!

Technically Snow and Hook did meet before during the altered timeline in “Snow Drifts”, but Hook’s face was hidden in the shadows, which explained why Snow wouldn’t recognize him when they later met in Season 2. This scene in the musical episode, though, is either going to be explained via memory potion or it will be a large oversight that goes unexplained. What’s so hard about doing flashbacks that aren’t confusing or retconish? The writers make things more difficult than they need to be.
Just so it’s known this is officially the first meeting of Hook with his true love Emma.
Also how likely is it that the first kiss of Emma and Hook as husband and wife breaks the spell?

…..I’m actually okay with this…. Sounds legit. I can buy this. I don’t like it. But okay, sounds like a decent set up.

its like they aren’t keeping track of the things they created. Like seriously, do they not have a…canon compilation or something?

I don’t think that counts considering she’s a fetus… They are both entirely unaware of the others presence.
Also, okay so this is before Hook met Emma… So….(and I don’t mean this to be snarky but) whats his song gonna be about then? Highly emotional people sing due to the spell so his song is either about 1) Losing Milah 2) Wanting to kill Rump 3) Both.

Keeper Of Tamara's Taser , Jafar's Staff, Kitsis’s Glasses , Ariel’s Tail, Dopey's Hat , Peter Pan’s Shadow, Outfit, & Pied Cloak,Red Queen's Castle, White Rabbit's Power To World Hop, Zelena's BroomStick, & ALL MAGICI think it’ll tie in to the present storyline with the wedding. Maybe he sings about love lost and hopes for love to come his way some day but who knows. It could just be a fun pirate number. It’s just hilarious that Hook’s true love is in Snow’s belly when he serenades Snowing.
Sounds like they’ve ripped off Buffy via deep feelings being (reluctantly) expressed through song because of a magical object causing issues.
The writers could’ve just kept it simple and had the characters partake in a karaoke night as part of Emma and Hook hen/stag do.
