After being MIA for nearly two full seasons, Storybrooke’s resident shrink is taking appointments again.
TVLine has learned exclusively that Once Upon a Time original cast member Raphael Sbarge is set to reprise his role as Jiminy Cricket’s human alter ego, Dr. Archie Hopper, in the ABC drama’s Season 6 premiere — “and our favorite cricket-shrink is going to find himself with a new patient,” says series co-creator Adam Horowitz.

"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"Yes! At last. I was wondering if we’ll ever see Jiminy/Dr. Hopper again. Even though the actor didn’t show up or voice his character in season 5, the character still returned (Souls of the Departed).
Even though it was not announced yet, Red and Dorothy might return this season, because the showrunners wish and want to. It depends on the schedule. But since Meghan appears to be done filming and acting in her latest hallmark movie (Chesapeake Shores), it might appear that she might return this coming season with Dorothy, Mulan, and especially Toto.
Mulan will be the hardest one to get given Jamie Chung’s new role on Gotham.

I was going to suggest Regina, but she wouldn’t be a new patient, since I believe she’s already talked to him before. I don’t think Emma really has any reason to go to him, unless she feels guilty about Robin dying. Maybe Jekyll or Hyde will have some woes to work out.

I don’t know who the patient is, but I wish it were me. I could use some therapy to help me through S6.
As for Emma in therapy, here’s how THAT might play out.
ARCHIE: Emma, I’m so glad you’re seeking help for all your issues.
EMMA: I don’t have issues.
ARCHIE: Really? Since my last appearance, you became the dark one, heard voices in your head, ripped out a girl’s heart, killed your boyfriend, rescued him from hell, discovered your parents are baby kidnappers and started having disturbing prophetic dreams. Have I missed anything?
EMMA: What’s your point?
ARCHIE: My point is you could use some support.
EMMA: My walls are my support! I have four, thick, load bearing ones all around me and I can lean on them as much as I want. How can you not know about my walls?!!
ARCHIE: That’s not the kind of support I meant. You’ve been through a lot, you need help.
EMMA: Archie, this whole town’s been through a lot. EVERYONE needs help. I’m the least of your worries.
ARCHIE: But…
EMMA: I’m the main character, so my happy ending’s guaranteed. Also, I’m immune to karma, my boyfriend’s harder to kill than a cockroach and our love story is by far the writers’ favourite. Even my leather jacket gets as much backstory as the only same sex couple and it’s still with us, unlike most of the PoC. Seriously Archie, there are others who need your help more.

Well from that article i took one key part of one line “back for the S6 premiere” and not for S6, meaning he may only appear on that episode and then after disapear, so i dont think this cameo will be that important, is like the “morpheus “character that is also said will appear on s6 premiere and not during the season, in that sense, i dont see much of a storyline for this, because one storyline for archie should have been in S4, with Rumple PTSD after Zelena thing and with Bae dying and that was passed, so until have more info i dont think this return will be more than on simple cameo in one scene on 601.

That is why i said, until i know more about this, bc until then, the info we have is premiere, not rest of the season, if he films more epis then this return may be important to the story of the season, if he doesnt, then is simply a cameo, that is why i dont make theories about this new patient, but if i had to make any theories i would say Emma, Hyde or Snow.

I think Emma has more reason than anyone, if the show/writers actually understood and acknowledged traumatic experiences. She still goes around talking about her walls, her fear of rejection, how hard it is for her to be the Savior. Add in her time as the Dark One, her visit to “hell” and Robin’s death….yeah, she needs to go to therapy.
As for Archie’s schedule….therapy is more than a one time only thing, so here’s hoping he’s around to council for more than just the premiere.
