Guys, what if Shatner is the blimp pilot (erm, captain)

We know that TV line is predicting that the guest and the show will be trending before the opening credits. We just saw that (most likely) the second scene–after Aladdin–is the arrival of the blimp. What if the very next scene is the captain of the blimp crashing and it’s Shatner.

The press people usually give more specific teases from the screeners. However, the ones who got to attend the 601 screening have been relatively quiet thus far, and have only said very vague things. Nothing about specific scenes or even simple dialogue teases. I find that a bit odd, to say the least. It’s as if ABC is forcing them to be more tight-lipped than usual, which Tyler suggested. It’s easier for them to control a small group of people who physically attended a screening than it is to control every person online that has a login for their press site.

That’s an idea! My initial theory was, since we’re apparently going to learn more about David’s father, that perhaps Shatner is playing him? Either way, making Shatner play a captain of a flying vessel (*coughStarTrekcough*) would be so meta.

Maybe when they track down the crashed blimp, the captain and everybody who was on board will be missing. The captain could remain unrevealed til near the end of the episode.

Well, if Neal or MRJ was to return not as a vision but for real, that would trend, even if as a neal twin, lol, bc in this show anything can happen, ouat fandom would be shocked and would make that trend, I mean they trended Neal/MRJ stuff in the past, with hope for Neal? Or when 315 aired Neal and Bae tags trended worldwide. Ask MRJ used to trended when MRJ did those, didnt trend in 312, bc everyone already kne whe would be on it, heck they even had somehow the scene in advance bc someone posted online. Also, this is tv line, with example of 312 blind item, when they called Neal fan favorite? many said could not be Neal bc he was not a fan favorite, so these blind items are written to generate readings so they have to exagerate onwhat they write to get people to read it.

Although, wonder if in the case if this was ouat whivh i dont believe, and the scene was filmed in August only, if was related to do with the fact that they reshoot scenes in all the other epis and somehow appears they filmed them, while filming 605 and 606.

I would thought CW shows with Shatner( in supernatural or flash), but they only start in October ,I think, the item said the scene was filmed in August, for a September premiere, may be Sandra oh return to greys , there are rumours she is to make one appearance, i think was not confirmed yet, bc if they still didn’t confirmed may be her, Cristina yang is a beloved character that would trend for sure.

1) It’s not a CBS show.
2) It’s a Season premiere that airs this month, which rules out any October premieres.
3) It’s a returning series, which rules out any new shows.
4) The original article said that it was “shot last month” under secrecy, which should rule out any of the animated shows on FOX.

Now I doubt it’s any of the comedies, but since the article never specified whether it was a drama show or not, I still had to include them. I think the most likely candidates aside from OUAT are Grey’s and HTGAWM, so tonight should prove interesting. If the Blind Item still isn’t revealed tonight, then that of course makes OUAT more suspect-able.

Grey’s is still a strong contender given that they’ve lost some high profile cast members over the past 2-3 years (and even further if we want to count characters like Izzy and George) that would explode social media. Like, if Patrick Dempsey suddenly showed up tonight, Twitter might melt.

If it doesn’t happen on Grey’s or HTGAWM tonight, I’ll be convinced that it’s OuaT. I just can’t see any of the other shows doing anything like this.

It could be Superstore. There have been a lot of famous people on there. I could see them getting someone big.

I would love if Cristina came back on Grey’s even for an episode. She was such a great character.
