Series creators Eddy Kitsis and Adam Horowitz are excited to spend a season back in Storybrooke and “dig into each of our characters and explore what makes them who they are,” as they help Aladdin and others from the Land of Untold Stories deal with their suddenly resumed tales. “Whereas the Dark Curse gave you no choice, these people chose to pause their lives, for different reasons,” says Kitsis. “We see Emma really back in the position where she’s a Savior trying to help people find their happiness.” Meanwhile, as Regina deals with the “many ramifications” of splitting off (and seemingly snuffing) her sinister side, the purely Evil Queen will form a “delicious” plan to attack the heroes “with the style and grace you would expect” from the royal, Kitsis previews.

This I could absolutely see them doing.
I thought maybe they were going to pull a massive retcon where the RumBelle baby was going to turn out to be Baelfire but then I thought we’d seen baby Baelfire so that couldn’t possibly happen but knowing what these show runners are like, some time travel stuff is possible so they might do like River Song with the RumBelle baby.

I could believe this as it probably would be used a motivation for Rumple to change so he doesn’t lose his wife to another man. As opposed to, ya know, a child on the way or whatever.
