Question: Once Upon a Time‘s second episode flashes back to Hook’s life after his and Emma’s “happy beginning,” Episode 4 is about Rumple/Belle. When do we get one about Regina? —Dawn

Ausiello: Regina is a “huge part” of Season 7’s early episodes, co-creator Adam Horowitz told Matt Mitovich, so during that stretch viewers will gather bits and pieces of her own life before the latest curse hit. “Her [-centric episode] will probably be Episode 6,” ventures co-creator Eddy Kitsis, “but she is in all the flashbacks for [Episodes] 2 and 3, significantly. Regina fans have no need to fear — she’s front and center as always.”

    Probably episode 6? Okay…..

“but she is in all the flashbacks for [Episodes] 2 and 3, significantly

Interesting. We knew Ep. 2 flashbacks were going to take place post S6 finale, but it looks like it safe to assume the same for Ep. 3 probably.

Yeah. Shouldn’t they be about to or already writing episode 6 at this point? He makes it sound like maybe they’ll change their minds at the last minute or they’ll just take whatever the writers give them. This is what I want to happen:

    (Writer hands Ep. 6 script to A & E)

Adam: What? This is a Will/Anastasia-centric. I thought it was going be a Regina-centric.

Eddy: Good thing I said “probably.” PR crisis averted.

What a load of BS. They’re straight up lying at this point. Regina is not in all the flashbacks in 7×02. She’s probably in one or two of the scenes.

Let’s not forget the fact that JMO filmed all her stuff for episode 2 and Lana was in LA during that entire time. Adam has also stated that JMO is in a lot of the episode. All of Emma’s stuff is obviously flashback, so that says it right there. Regina is not in 7×02 flashbacks for a majority of it. Unless she filmed with Emma via green screen or stand in.

I think the comma is just in the wrong spot.

“Hers will probably be Episode 6, but she is in all the flashbacks, for 2 and 3 significantly. Regina fans have no need to fear — she’s front and center as always.”

I don’t think that it matters though. They just mean that she is in some of the flashbacks for both episodes. Regina is going to be in more of the future scenes anyways since she is one of very few characters left. Emma had like three flashbacks in the entire run except for the Camelot stuff and she was always on the show a lot.

I don’t think the writers are lying because there is a big difference between Regina and Roni. Roni will of course feature a lot in the present day, but Regina will only be in certain flashbacks in the first several episodes. Lana Parrilla, nevertheless, will of course be in nearly every episode since she is a playing one of the lead characters, a very important one by the sounds of it.

Yeah, but Roni is just a cursed Regina. They are probably still going to play heavily on the whole she is Henry’s mother and Lucy’s grandmother even though none of the characters, but Lucy, know or believe that at the time.
