The ABC series in casting the recurring role of Lily, a bright, self-reliant teen who boasts a “charming, take-no-prisoners punk exterior and the heart of a secretive, insecure opportunist.”
Am I the only one thinking that the last part of the description doesn’t make Lily sound so great, “heart of a secretive, insecure opportunist”? Makes me all think more of a possible bully, sorry. But having been raised by the queen of bullies maybe not such a surprise if Henry would find that attractive.

An interesting theory I see in the chat is that Lily is Tiger Lily.
What I find interesting about that description of the character is “charming.” That makes me think she’s not a bully but hides that she is a good person by trying to be fierce on the outside.
For the theories about Tiana or Tiger Lily:
The casting call doesn’t specify race and I believe the general rule of thumb is, if it does not give a specific race in the call, then they want a white actor/actress. So unless Adam and Eddy are race swapping (which would be suicide for them at this point given how under represented PoC are on this show), I don’t think it can be either Tiana or Tiger Lily.

CRACK-THEORY: Lily is Princess Tiana
I like that theory. However, wouldn’t they have needed to specify in the casting call that “Lily” be black. They’ve done it before with Tamara’s and I think Rapunzel’s casting call. Tiana is known for being the “first” black Disney princess. If they suddenly made her white, it would go down as well as a lead balloon.

I agree with RG that Lily could be someone Henry knew in New York during the missing year. Lily sounds like a thief possibly living on the street since she’s described as “self-reliant”. Maybe Henry and Lily are the SwanFire remix?

Crack Theory on Lily: She could be a gender-flipped Flynn Rider. A&E hinted at comic con that we might see Flynn Rider but the Rapunzel story’s been done so Lily could be Flynn.
Also it’s possible Lily is a friend of Emma’s from New York who’s actually older than Henry. When Felix’s casting call came out alongside some other lost boy roles, it was for “teen” boy yet Felix was played by Parker Croft who was 26 at the time. Lily could be played by another 20 something year old whilst the character is in their very late teens.
I don’t think they’d give Henry a girl his own age to crush on because that could lead to implications of teenage promiscuity and Henry’s only meant to be 12. By having him crush on an older girl, they can have Henry deal with all the newfound feelings he has but the ship won’t sail.
