I’m pretty sure it won’t be Regina who gets pregnant, since I think she might be infertile after failing to get pregnant by either Leopold or the Huntsman in the EF. I think Belle is much more likely to get pregnant, since her fertility was openly commented on.
If the show in question is ONCE then you might be right. But it might not be ONCE at all. Everyone put on your thinking caps…other shows?
Scandal
Grimm
The Good Wife?

Regina could have very well purposefully made herself unable to conceive to prevent herself from ever getting pregnant by Leopold and the Huntsman! A simple curse that can be undone…
And if Lily is Regina and Robin’s daughter, I’d say chances are after having to give up Lily more than likely to the Sorcerer, Regina never wanted to experience that type of hurt again, and cursed herself never to conceive while in the EF before the Sorcerer wiped her and Robin’s memories…
And thank you Lana for giving us this…

December 12, 2014 at 3:52 pm #292998SlurpeezParticipantAnother reason why Belle would be my top choice on Once: A new baby might be just the thing to whip Rumple into shape. Fatherhood was always the most humanizing redemptive quality about Rumple in my opinion.

December 12, 2014 at 3:56 pm #292999CorbinParticipantDoes anyone think the pregnancy could be Emma? Reading from the article itself, it said, “it’s leading lady.” As important as Regina is, she’s not the main character. That title still goes to Emma.
Plus, the writer speculated that fans will be upset because it could be too soon for such a development. Emma and Hook aren’t really a “thing,” while Regina and Robin (while they did have sex), have been prophesied for 40+ years.
And there’s also the fact that the Blind Item states that this could alter the DNA of the show. Imagine the ramifications. If Regina had a child, that would be a huge ramification for her. It would finally show that the Evil Queen, one who never thought she could be loved, is now a good person who’s carrying a child.
Emma, on the other hand, is the Savior. Imagine the SAVIOR having a baby. True Love Incarnate’s child! This would effect so many things because, well, if the Savior is the most powerful being of all time (based on what we’ve heard previously), just imagine her child? That could effect everyone because the town residents have all depended on her for their happy endings. Now, they all need to support her.
Personally, I don’t want another pregnancy on the show. We already have one, and that’s sidelined Snow and Charming, letting them live up to their “Two Idiots” moniker. I’m holding out hope that it isn’t for Once (but, with the relationship that A&E have with Matt Mitovich and the site in general, it could very well be).
Keeper of Thor’s Hammer, Will Scarlet’s Genie Bottle, Emma’s Gun, Emma and Henry’s Moment at the Castle, Cora, and the infamous Family Tree!

We’ve never heard of Regina using such a spell, so that is pure speculation. All we have to go on is that Regina lived in a pre-industrialized society in which babies were born frequently because birth control seems not to have existed. Regina was having sex with at least two different guys so her not conceiving a child suggests she’s barren, rather than either Leo or the Huntsman being sterile.
For lots of reasons, I think Belle getting pregnant would be better than Regina (at least at this stage). Until Robin sorts things out with Marian and their marriage is shown definitively to be over, I hope for Regina’s sake she’s not pregnant by him. If Robin weren’t already spoken for and didn’t have a child with another woman, I’d be in favor of that too. But until I see a formal divorce paper, I hope there is no child for Robin and Regina. I know Lily being their child is a popular theory, but until we get firm evidence that is the case, I’m not yet willing to bet on it.

Um, Emma already has a child: Henry. He’s the product of the product of true love, so if anyone is going to be the powerful offspring of the Savior, it’s Henry. As for Emma an Hook having a child, no thanks.

Actually leading lady goes to Ginny still.

No. It means that the spoiler is told but not what show it is

This is a show about magic….anything’s possible I guess when it’s suited for Adam and Eddy’s needs. Regina could have made herself infertile only in the EF to ensure her not getting pregnant by Leopold or Graham. The curse doesn’t apply in SB.
Belle getting pregnant…although it does sound nice and all…until Rumple cleans up his act, he needs not be anyone’s father. Unless the baby of course changes him back for the better, but still…Rumple has to meet some consequences and the distress from learning what Rumple’s done while pregnant, maybe too much stress for a pregnant Belle.
Divorce Papers…Robin and Marian don’t even have marriage papers in Storybrooke…a divorce really isn’t needed if they aren’t technically married in this world. And as Lana perfectly stated….although Marian is back making things complicated for OutlawQueen, death did originally do Robin and Marian part…
