Unless AU Neal came back from NL at some point and grew up with his Papa.
That’s the way I’ve been thinking of it, yes. Bae went back to FTL, instead of coming to our world, and because he went back to FTL, there was no need for Rumple to have the Curse cast, which leads to an AU situation where everyone (including a civil Regina, and a Belle that’s not locked up) is hanging out together in FTL.

I do think she’s probably still in the womb, and part of why I think that is because Neal and Hook seem to be hanging out as buddies. With no Emma in existence to come between them, they were able to actually repair their relationship. We could see what could have been, if not for this juvenile triangle mess, and maybe it could give us hope that they’ll still be able to salvage a friendship in the real non-AU storyline as well, if they can just get past Emma thing.

I have no suggestions as to why they’re running scared, but I think they might be in their kingdom somewhere, when the rest of the group comes along. And perhaps they already know Snowing because Philip went to them for help when Aurora was put under a sleeping curse, because everyone knows how Charming woke Snow from a sleeping curse. And yes, I’m saying that Henry was never born. I’m guessing that the AU scenario would be at the place on the t-word around when the Curse was cast in the story we’ve already seen.
The problem is that there is no theory–flashback, flashforward, AU, dream–that explains everything. Which is why I think we’re 100% wrong about basically everything concerning the second half of S3. It’s gonna be something probably obvious, but not something we can come up with. We’re probably really over thinking everything.

Ah I do love that about CaptainFire but it sorta negates the whole Emma was destined for X when she’s still in the womb and both Hook and Neal are full fledged adults.

Well Snowing just seem to *know* the other rulers–like Cinderella. We don’t know how Snowing knows Cinderella and Thomas, but they just do. Their kingdoms are close to each other, they trade, they attend the same parties–whatever. The same is probably true of Philora and Snowing.

What if something happen to emma and somehow she ends up dreaming about an alternate reality, like what would have happen if everyone made diferent choses? would that still lead them to where they are now?
Because due to recent twiter photos, we know that archie, granny, blue, the darwfs and henry filmed, in what i think was SB, or at least some part of it.
We have FTL, where regina is on set with them, but i wonder if from the pics we saw that was BTS, because i didnt saw any photos of filming where regina is being friend with them, if you saw it please tell me.
Another thing i wrote yesterday at the chat, is that we seen photos of hook and emma, henry and emma and emma and new guy, but never the 3 at the same time together.
Also, there is a talk how emma , hook and henry go in the bug together to ny, but just because there is a scene( strange, becuase there are diferent stories about that scene, where some people say that hook got in the bug with emma, others say that she left him staying near the bug, then there are a video, but the only thing i saw was jen, with the long coat she wears when is cold and a cup of coffee enter teh bug, and colin, without his hook enter also in the bug, that could have been move the car for diferent scenes) of them near the bug that tey travel together, even moree strange, we never saw the bug in any pics, also if hook was traveling with emma why from all people would be him to keep the potion and not emma, why would hook want emma to take the potion.
That is why i think that all this is some dream or something like that regarding emma, for example, we have have a scene where MM gives henry the book, but the story is the one we going to see.
Finally, something that i feel is strange about again, hook beeing in 2 places at the same time is , that all te main characters, at least the ones we saw sharing the FTL scenes, like, Rumple, Belle, Regina, Neal, Hook, Charming and Snow, all filmed some night scenes at the cemitery, and emma and henry did not film there, so i wonder if that is somehow related to all being in FTL, , becuase soem crew menbers did confirm that Robert filmed scenes for that epi in FTL has Dark one , and he was with Lana.
So i do agree that, episode 12 is some how a dream episode and after the 13, we will satring to see the new story, but still with the idea, what would happen if everyone had made diferent choices, maybe that is the theme for next part of the season, becuase in a show so connected with fate and destiny, does that mean that even if we made diferente choices, destiny or fate would still bring us where we are today?
I know it’s crazy, and sorry this long idea.

We have very few shots of them actually filming but those who are out there shooting are very considerate and don’t like to shoot or film while the actors are actually performing because they don’t want to mess them up. So we have shots of Regina with the rest of the group, but we can’t tell what sort of role she is playing.

Good point. The commonality is Emma. So where are the other guys–Hook, Henry, New Guy–during the other scenes?

The bug we can up with an explanation for, though. It’s at the airport or they parked it in a NYC parking lot.
That is why i think that all this is some dream or something like that regarding emma, for example, we have have a scene where MM gives henry the book, but the story is the one we going to see.
The dream idea makes sense but doesn’t explain why Hook and Emma and Henry get in the bug to go to NYC in 311.

I agree that 3×12 has to be some sort of AU episode because nothing else makes sense about it and I’m starting to agree that the common factor is Emma. I couldn’t even begin to tell you how that works but we haven’t really had an Emma centric episode yet this year (Lost Girl kind of counts but it was mostly NL stuff and not totally about Emma’s past like other centrics) so I’m on board if this episode is somehow about her and her life choices and what could have/would have happened if she’d done this instead of that or what not. Why is everything so confusing?!? LOL 😆
